I remember when I lurked end of last year, all these kobe stans were on this nikkas dick :oldlol:
They have been striking out left and right trying to ride players that can stop LeBron. Melo-Rose-Durant-George and I am guessing Wiggins is next on their list :lol

Let's be honest though, there are only 2 true superstars right now and it's Durant and James. If Kobe Bryant didn't injure that achilles, he would be another.

Paul George from what we have seen is no superstar. He's better than Smith, Harrington, and Bender. He's not better than the likes of Vince Carter, Paul Pierce, and especially not Tracy McGrady at their best.

Depends on the definition I guess... Which seems to vary.

Depends of the definition and how we determine a superstar. There are things like transcendent superstar or superstar-lite too.

Griffin, Paul, and Melo you could have point because of the markets they play in. Not so sure about Westbrook and Dwight kinda fell off IMO. I don't think he was ever true superstar, but I could see why.

Derrick Rose is another. He's been injury prone a lot, but he can sell jerseys through the last 2 years.

I don't mean from a market standpoint. I mean from the point of view that you can put these guys almost on any team and make the playoffs, or on a decent team and consistently go deep in the playoffs.

Yeah, exactly, but I think it's too harsh to consider the standard to be "instant finals appearance on good team."

well, we'll find out when Stephenson leaves town.

because we'll get a better idea as to what option George was really functioning as putting up those numbers.

when Granger left, he filled up the void nicely.

But if Stephenson leaves, it's clearly they are in mini-rebuild mode.

can he once again put up even better numbers?

it's his time to prove himself on an individual standpoint
and it IS important, because his FO needs to get a look at his ceiling
that way they can really know how to build around him.
