View Full Version : What a difference 2 years makes for LeBron

Around this time 2 years ago, LeBron was still regarded as a ringless choker who'd never win the big one, in addition to questions about his crunchtime abilities way back when compared to now.

I could make a case that game 6 of Miami/Boston in 2012 was the most pivotal NBA game of the post-Bulls dynasty era.

From that point forward, LeBron has never failed to answer the bell in a truly big game.

Agreed. The game changed his whole career around (in terms of being considered one of the greats). After that game you knew they weren't going to lose the title.

That was the last Miami lost back to back games in a series.

Lebron demoralized that celtics team in 2 and a half quarters. it was all over after that. I've never seen a player just flatout dominate a team in one half like Lebron did that game. His stats don't even show how much effect he had on that game. If the celtics were a little more competitive he would've had 60+ there was nothing stopping Lebron that game.

thunder really ruined the league they wouldnt bench thabo vs the heat when he couldnt guard lebron @ all.I knew once he got that 1st ring he would never be nervous again smh.Hopefully after the heat wins 2 more chips someone will knock them off in 2016 playoffs.Cause you can cancel christmas if you think the heat will lose anytime soon.

Wilds, i'm cool with you and all, but why won't you give LeBron any credit? Durant has Westbrook, Ibaka and refs, and had Harden... LeBron had Wade injured in 2013/2012... Kobe had Shaq and Gasol and Phil..

Why do you keep harping on LeBron?

exactly this is how i want to see lebron in every finals game this year.( doesnt have to score 45 every game but the mentality)
Heat didnt play many playoff games and he should be fresh enough to have some strong ass games.
just watch the boston game where he drilled 15 tough jumpers and play like that vs spurs:applause:

Wade was not injured he was faking. In 2012 finals tha refs were on tha cheat side and everybody knows it. Lebron's cheat teamz are more stacked than any other teamz b4 and Lebron took tha easy route at that teaming up with two top ten guys:no:

Wade had his knee drained and averaged 15 points in the playoffs last year.. Why are you so sure he was faking it?

Did you see Kings-Lakers 2002? Whose side where refs in? Dod you see OKC-Clippers series? Whose sides were refs in? Yet don't discredit them.

Bosh has averaged less than 15 points in the playoffs the last 3 years and can't evn get close to 9 rebounds, Wade averaged 15 last year and he is now 32 years old... Those two players are more stacked than having 38 points 16 rebounds Shaq carry you for3 titles? Or Durant having 25 year old Westbrook, 24 year old Ibaka who is a candidate for DPOY?

Let it go man... Fresh people don't hate for invalid reasons.

Wage was either faking or had his knee drained with roids. I did admit that lakers-kings 2002 was rigged for only that one game. I didn't let OKC slide with that game against tha clippers but I also know that tha thunder has no chance at winning tha title either. Bosh and Wade didn't have to average much since tha refs were on their side anyway with help from tha other stacked role players. Shaq carried nobody him and Kobe were a true definition of a scoring duo which means 1A and 1B. And I repeat tha thunder aint winning shit this year:no:

You realize the gap in scoring between Shaq and Kobe was greater than the gap between LeBron vs Wade/Bosh combined?

2000 Finals: Shaq - 38, 16, 2. Kobe - 15, 4, 4.

2001 Finals: Shaq - 33, 16, 5, 3 blocks. Kobe - 24, 8, 5.

2002 Finals: Shaq - 36, 12, 4, 3 blocks. Kobe - 27, 6, 5.

If Kobe didn't get carried then he has massive help... And he wasn't even the best player for his 3-peat.

You don't like LeBron, i get it, but if you are going to try to discredit him, find some good points man.

Let me see Shaq get past the Blazers, Spurs and Kings with Kobe scoring 15, 4, 4.

Once they got to the east frontcourts it was all over.

Kobe was asked to be extra subordinate.

That can mess with your rhythm.

I aknowlege that, i'm just trying to point out the double standard of calling an oft-injured Wade and under-performing Bosh "stacked", while having Shaq dominate and win the Fmvp of Kobe's first 3 titles "not stacked".
