I think if Exum is taken they should just go ahead and grab Lavine at #7. He would be a steal at # 7. I would take him over KD if he was in the 2007 draft

Given my recent talks with GMs around the league we feel pretty good with our pick.

Wiggins at #7 will be a game changer for us.

I could definitely see that happening. But I think Lavine is a safer pick. Wiggins has high bust potential

the last time lakers got into the lottery?

buumm bynum with the 10th pick

and the only better player from that draft? CP3@#4 and arguably Deron William @#3

so no worries mate, whoever lakers FO pick is the best available

I really believe ( and hope ) that Exum will end up in LA. I think the teams above lakers won't take the risk to draft him because he mentioned he will only play for Lakers. So there is high chance that if for example Jazz draft him, he will just got for 3 years in Europe.
But in case Exum won't be available yes Lavine should be the Laker's option. He is the second best option in this draft anyway considering that Embid can be injury prone, wiggins (poor man's rudy gay) lack skills and parker isn't explosive enough and his handling is kind of questionable at best.

Who will Orlando draft for the Lakers at #4 then?

Orlando will go for Smart or Randle . Smart to "combo" with oladipo and replace Affalo and Randle if they decide taht Affalo stays. And of course none of those scrubs will end up with Lakers.

Too short to guard bigs and no footwork to guard perimeter players. A lot of potential and athletic freak sure but he cant be a starting 5 player for lakers next year. Its too much gamble to be above 15-20 pick

and accomplish what exactly?the jazz would still hold his rights and if he improved overseas then they would have a bigger trade asset.

Lol at you thinking that gordon cant guard perimeter players. Aaron gordon could be the next marion. But yeah gordon wont fit with the lakers. Vonleh would be a better fit.

Fit with the Lakers wtf? Based on what? We have no coach and 4 four players with contracts for the next season (not counting chucky p, he will hopefully opt out).

Lavine is a better fit than Smart, and probably has a higher ceiling too. He'll provide a good change of pace if he plays behind Kobe.

Vonleh has great potential. 6'10, has a set of post moves, can defend, rebound and spread the floor.

Not really a bold prediction, everyone who scouts hs knew he was an elite prospect but he picked the asbolute worst college possible and that destroyed his draft stock
