HIGHLY doubt he ends up in Sacramento, interesting nonetheless.

Still think Suns is best place for him right now and the best offer wolves could get.

What's the entirety of the package that they're offering? Is it basically all 3 2014 picks + Len + Goodwin?

Suns wouldn't need to go crazy to offer too much as they could just sign him next summer outright.
The situation in Sacramento is even worse than in Minnesota. But Gay Love Cousins would be fun to watch :lol

True, but I don't think he'll get to just walk away from Minnesota. Whichever team he's ultimately traded to likely will have an inside track to re-sign him next summer to a long-term deal (or they wouldn't have traded for him to begin with). I don't think many teams will offer to trade for him if they have a feeling it'll just be a rental. If Kings go for this, it could blow up massively in their face. Granted, Love/Cousins would be devastating offensively.

I would love to see him in a suns uniform, and if they dont sign any max contracts this summer, other than bledsoe, they will have cap space to sign him in free agency. The biggest problem is, will another big name frachise trade for him? Basically trading for him right now is like spending a little extra to pre-order him.
And you'd be ok with releasing the rights to re-sign Dragic as well?

Whomever trades for Love will be overpaying. Not a smart basketball decision.
Howard put Orlando in a similar situation, where everyone knew he wanted out, and he still went for three picks (right?) and some young players, most notably Vucevic. Essentially four "pieces".
I see Love as having similar, though slightly less, value. But you better believe the Wolves are looking at the precedent set by Orlando, and will accept nothing less than "four pieces"... the haul that Orlando got.
On the other hand, if I'm a team trading for Love, I don't see him as valuable as Howard, so I'm only offering three pieces. Wouldn't give up that extra piece to do the deal.
As an example... If the Bulls want to offer Boozer (0), both picks this year (2), and Mirotic (1)... sure. But all of that plus Butler (1)? Hell no. Or Gibson (1) instead of Boozer (0)? No.

8th + McLemore. Do it SAC!
They have nothing to lose, even if he leaves next season. They could build something special like the early 00's. Could have a Chris Webber type effect. Boogie/Love is an incredible front court.

Slightly less value? You're being way to generous. Dwight value was so much higher than Love's is at this point

Offensively, theyd be a good pairing. Love would stretch/space the floor for cousins to have his way in the paint and vice versa. defensively... absolutely no rim protection. Cousins would be in perpetual foul troube too, being the only player on the floor that can close the paint.
If the bucks go after embiid, it might be a decent idea to offer the 8th pick for sanders or henson (preferably, henson)

Bucks would gladly trade Sanders for #8, even if they don't get Embiid. I think even that is too high of a pick to give up for Henson. Millsap or Horford likely could be had for #8 though.
Is there any way Boogie can become a decent rim protector? He's got great physical tools to defend the rim. Didn't see him much last year but isn't he habitually lazier than he should be on that side of the floor? I think if Love had adequate help offensively, his defense would go from "not-trying" to "roughly average." His effort has been weak defensively in Minnesota.

underlined - on the court yeah, but off the court? not so sure. Kings have a vision and heavy ambition. I do question the new GM's decision-making, though...

Love + Cousins would be an amazing big combo. But if Sac is smart, they keep McLemore at all costs. I understand the mentality of "omg we must get Love, even if just for 1 season!", but it's a shortsighted, foolish mentality. McLemore has serious potential. He can fly, shoot, and is an athletic freak. I'd rather risk keeping him for another 3 years than give him up for a 1-year rental of an All-Star.
I know this isn't the topic, but I think Kings should trade the #8 pick for an Al Horford or Greg Monroe type - a banger PF who wont be a rental. Obviously they'd have to include some players, maybe some expiring contracts, Jason Thompson. Hell, I'd trade Cousins for something major.
