View Full Version : Baths are very underrated among men

Basically none of my friends takes baths. I almost always take a bath. It's wonderful to just sit in a tub, look at stuff on your phone, and relax. Shaving is much easier (all areas) and the body is so warm and loose afterward (takes a long shower to feel the same). The bath knobs where you can adjust the flow rate without adjusting the heat are great too if you want the tub to fill slowly or if you have have the sudden urge to *********e (slow the flow to give yourself time to finish).

I know a guy who takes a lot of baths. If i remember correctly, he came out of the closet not too long ago.

Are you looking forward to spending time with him on Fathers Day?

Never taken a bath but I cant imagine me taking a bath in my own dirty water so I just prefer showers.

Love taking a long bath, really loosens the bowel muscles.....then i take a huge dump.....just sitting in the tub playing with a big brown log , sometimes putting a little paper flag in one end of it........like a ship

I always bath after a leg day at the gym and usually the day after. Seems to soothe my muscles more than a shower.

I bath once a week and use bath bombs in the jacuzzi. I even set up my laptop and watch movies while I'm in the tub. Sometimes sit in there and have wine with the wifey and play a little nookie

I have a large jacuzzi that's big enough for 3 people to fit pretty comfortably, it's damn near a hot tub. I've used it 3 times total since moving in, which was a little over a year ago. Fist time was just to break it in and see what it's all about, other two was in there with my wife having sex.
It's just too time consuming to do on a regular...showers are quick and easy

I have a hot tub on my back deck that I use several times a week. Very relaxing. Granted I don't actually "bathe" in it. I shower to get clean.

Is that a Euphemism? The Middle aged often get up to the most filthy things apparently.

When I was younger I used to tag along to the gym with my father. There was a hot tub there that many men would use, and in the water of that hot tub there was always a large bird nest of pubic hair floating around.
Ever since I have viewed all hot tubs as hot testicle soup, although if I had my own private one I might think differently.

I think you just turned me off to my own.
They take some effort to maintain. I clean the filter and add shock tabs once a week, change the bromide cartridge once a month and drain the water and refill every 90 days. All the while you have to use test strips to make sure PH, alkalinity and calcium hardness are all balanced. It helps not sharing it with a bunch of hairy old men too.

The gym I used to go to had an awesome hot tub (and guys never really used it). I'd wake up looking forward to going to gym just to use that tub and relax.
The public pool in the neighborhood where I grew up would always have disgusting shit though. Saw a dead bird one day

yeah public pools are just nasty...when my son is older I will probably avoid them as much as possible
the "wave pool" at water parks...or "lazy river"...those are pretty much just pure kid's urine

^^^ really no different than swimming in a toilet...it's probably worse than toilet in some respects because you aren't maranating your nuts in the toilet..herpes, crabs, AIDS, etc...all sorts of disgusting shit in that water

...Maybe on the Worst Coast. I've never seen a truly nasty beach in this part of the world.

well most oceans are typically 10-15% larger than the average pool at a water park, so the pollutants are more diluted.
