And westbrook wins FMVP, how would this years playoff impact Alfred's legacy?

If OKC wins the championship, it won't count. They had no business even making it past game 5 against Memphis.

I think ppl will talk down on KD for not showing up and being carried by Westbrook. KD has to outplay him in the finals if they make it

OKC might not have a chance to beat Miami, but the refs do.

It will be about as impressive a title as I've seen...

But it also will seem so undeserved as well with some of the circumstances for Durant and WB...and the team in general.

So I will be torn on it a bit...especially when giving credit to Durant.

But as a team going through this road? Hugely impressive...probably more impressive than the 11 Mavs.

3peat looks very likely at this stage.

Prolonged west series and heat looking to close out series with rest and wade healthy.

Fυck no. Dallas actually WON its series in 2011. None of this sketchy officiating, out the the blue suspensions and general shadiness that OKC has benefitted from.

Just out of interest, I'm guessing you still count the Miami Heat ring won in 2012 right?

I was taking that stuff out of it. I thought that was clear in my above post.

I was saying that I'm torn because of the circumstances...etc, but just looking at it broadly from the perspective of beating the Grizzlies, Clippers, Spurs, and Heat...in a vacuum that is a harder road than the Mavs had.

Not a ton harder though...people here have undersold the Lakers, Thunder, and Heat hugely in 11 with the revisionist history BS.

Dan Crawford. Celtics series. Then again in the finals at the end of game 2. Stop being coy.. you know exactly what happened.

Were you supporting the Lakers or the Heat back then? I can't remember..

Celtics series: game 4 rigged in favor of Celtics.
Thunder series: Refs favored OKC game 4 and game 5 ( they give up after half-time) and Miami still beat them easily.

Why? Because they called him for questionable touch fouls covering Chalmers and Battier to put him at 5 fouls in the first place? Thats hilarious. The rigjob was legit :oldlol:

If refs let there be equal basketball, there is no Mike Miller and because of that, I got OKC in 7 and a changing of the guard

If OKC won, history would call it a great tandem. Years from now it will be known as 2 great players that beat the best in the league. Unlike, Jordan and Kobe and Lebron who always will be known as THE guys that willed their teams to championships. (Even if it is not completely factual, this will be the case in 15-20 years). So basically Durant cements himself as a great player, not a generational talent.
