So far the future looks promising with the top college players coming out. Joel is a big and we need a dominant big man too. The game needs that. I am not sure about Jabari yet. Good player but who knows. Exum looks to be the next guy but he is not a very polish player. Love Randle and he could be another Z-Bo or Anthony Mason type bangers.

I don't think there is much to look forward to. Great basketball players are nowhere to be found. Luckily for me, I started appreciating Kobe's game for 18 years now. Watched MJ since he had hair. Magic, Larry and Kareem are missed.

Doesn't look very good and the game being played at this pace doesn't excite me. Too many within the offense players.

Durant looks promising as hell though.

aj1987 posted some shot chart that showed that lebron hit just 6-7 jumpshots TOTAL in the 2012 Finals.

I saw that and was like damn, why do people even mention this guy in the same breath as kobe/jordan?

I get what you're saying, it's very depressing right now sans KD and the potential of this current draft class.

Well how has the last two years been?

aside from west's first round this year,
all the other series has been:

unwatchable
loopsided competition
rigged officiating

The last alpha male in the NBA.

I see the league getting softer. Crying about fouls, flopping, hipster glasses in press conferences, etc. my generation was basically the guys in the mid 90's draft and when MJ was on his way out.

Eastern Conference is boring in terms of needing a main attraction. The games are exciting but somewhat sloppy.

KD is very entertaining to watch out of the 3 other teams. Lets not get started on GOATbrook, that guy is Mr. Entertainment.

Lebron is boring. The excitement is his failure. Which doesn't sit well.

It'll be a sad when Kobe Bryant retires but the NBA has a great future.

We got a ton of young players coming up like Russell Westbrook, Damian Lillard, DeMarcus Cousins, Andre Drummond, Paul George, Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, John Wall, Bradley Beal, Klay Thompson, Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis.

We already got Kevin Durant and LeBron James battling out for the "Best Player in the World" name.

We got future studs coming up like Joel Embiid, Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins, Dante Exum... guys like that.

Kobe's memories will live on but lets look forward into the great future

I am banking on this generation to surprise us. I really want them to do well considering all the guys seem to have a good shoulder on their head.

I hope they don't become good friends because they're in the same draft class.

I want them to kill each other. Since Exum and Wiggins are not American, I can see potential rivalries brewing from international play.:applause:

Kobe will be back next season. I have no doubt of this.

Kobe has not been relevant since getting swept by Dallas in 2011.

He barely made the playoffs with Dwight Howard. Clippers, Warriors and Suns have gotten better since than.

Kobe haven't been relevant for a long time now, so if you actually watch some NBA you would have known the answer.:confusedshrug:

Sure. He will try and if he keeps healthy he will be a good scorer. But he is too old now to dominate. Without bigtime help (and he will not get that) he will go down again because he still thinks he can do it. I am a big fan and thats just the way he is. but he cant win against age and his body.

Boring.

Its so much fun watching Kobe bitch and moan about the organization while eating all that cap and tards defending him. There's nothing more hilarious than a Kobe tard trying to justify every dumb shit Kobe does.

We need to see how the next crop of talent develops. The league was rich with star talent a decade ago:

Shaq
Kobe
Duncan
Garnett
Dirk
Tmac
Iverson
Lebron
Wade
Kidd
Ray Allen
Melo
Pierce
Vince

I'm missing a few names, but you get the idea. Right now we're in transition, with most of the above names either out or on their way out. Right now,out of the new breed( lets say 25 and under crowd) Durant is the only surefire HOF all-timer type talent. Admittedly its weird watching the stars of the 2000's fading away, the last time you had such a collection of talent was the late 80s/early 90s.

Frauds everywhere. Lebron and Durant are prime examples.

Weak era - can't be more obvious. With Duncan, Kobe, KG, Pierce, Dirk, Nash and the like burning out....there really isn't any clowns worthy to carry the torch and it shows.
