its do or die for the heat.
people thought it was impossible for indiana to win the series down 3-1
well
when its
in indiana W
in miami ?
in indiana (W guaranteed)
its not so far fetched now is it? just win one game on the road and you're in the nba finals

refs and nba would go out of their way to make it happen. no way theyed make a home team lose game 7
honestly how many times has it happened?
Hmmm....How many stars have ever choked away a 3-1 lead? I dont think it's possible.

The only way it happens is if the refs make it happen. :confusedshrug:

If Miami blows game 6 at home, they deserve to lose game 7.

You're right, lakers had game 7 at home in 2010. Kobe choked for 6-24 but refs gifted that to the Lakers

Yeah really. That offense can be scary dysfunctional at times. But if they somehow went to Miami and won, it would be a hell of slug fest come game 7.
That's not likely, though.

maybe.. i dunno.. but both teams that day shot like crap
kobes 6 for 24 was equaled by ray/pierce going 8 for 29
kobe had 15 rebounds and hit a key shot. artest hit a key shot. gasol hit a key shot
who knows. maybe it was just a grind out game. but maybe you're right. if i were a heat fan i'd be really worried if they lose game 6
whether a home team deserves it or not. theyre probly gonna win a game 7

I'll say this...
In game 6, it took a miraculous 37 pt performance w/ 20 or more in the 4th quarter to close the Heat out at Indiana. It also took an absolute shit performance from LeBron with him in foul trouble the whole game.
I don't think game 6 will resemble game 5 at all. We'll see though

My dear friend kenneth,
This post reeks of wishful thinking. Are you so insecure about the Heat potentially winning another title that you are trying to delude yourself that a boring team such as the Pacers will usurp them? Can you imagine if it is a Pacers/Spurs Finals? Who would watch?
As a die-hard Lakers fan, I have been witness to a lot of 8-on-5 basketball (when #8 Kobe would take on the entire 5 of the other team). That was the game as it was meant to be played-- truly entertaining stuff-- and if the league had to bend a few rules to bring us that contest, so be it. The Heat, with their star power, are in a similar position and I am pretty sure that the Silver era will not begin by presenting us a Finals devoid of such excitement.
At any rate, you needn't be so concerned about the Heat winning the championship. They would only have 4 and the Lakers have more than that, last I checked. Or if you devote all of your free time to defending Kobe's legacy like I do, worry not, as he has 5 titles (should be 7 if not for Shaq's tanking in '04 and the shameless rigging in '08) and LeBron would only have 3. We can begin to panic when LeBron gets #4. Until then, keep fighting the good fight!

the best trolls have haters hanging off their every last word
anyone who he directed that post at would obviously skip it knowing full well its meaningless sarcastic drivel
he's more of a homer troll... he plays to the attention of those he's friends with rather than his foes
the point of trolling is to anger. not to appease a crowd with comedic gestures
you think i dont know a thing or 2 about the craft
this is trolling in a nutshell

I am hurt, kenneth. My post was merely to comfort you. It is obvious you are so concerned about the Heat winning their 4th championship title that you are making up weird scenarios in which this could be prevented; when, in fact, you shouldn't be concerned at all. First off, any season in which Kobe Bryant doesn't play has an automatic asterisk (*) in the books, and we can safely discount it. Second, as I noted before, this would only be LeBron's third title and third FMVP compared to five titles and five (rightful) FMVPs for Kobe. So don't worry!
We are both here for the same reason: to keep Kobe's legacy alive for all of the incoming Wiggins & Exum "stans". While many of the fans today are aware of how great a volume chucker Kobe is, some of the youngsters do not know this, and it is excessively important that they be reminded through postings such as the insightful commentary you make day in and out. I am not as prolific, but I try to contribute. What I am trying to say is, I like what you are doing and I hope you keep it up for the love of ISH.
Praise Silver!

I would most appreciate your mentorship, kenneth, but unfortunately due to the inclement weather in my part of Mozambique, I only have Internet access a few hours a week, and not the eight or nine per day needed to keep the kind of posting volume you have here on ISH. But do know that I greatly appreciate your work and that the long hours you put in spreading the Kobe gospel are surely worth a lot to the world! I cannot think of a better way for one to spend his prime years!

Heat will close them out in 6. Silver knows what's up + the Heat is too stacked to be denied and the Pacers suck.
This win is a moral victory for the Pacers, nothing more.
