That's the news going around.. Apparently the bucks are looking very closely at him now.. And Philly are as well.. Prepared to take him with the number 3 pick if he is still available
So wiggins and Parker could now fall to 3 and 4

What you think if bucks take exum?

Bucks believe that knights best role on the team is to play off the ball on offense... They feel who will excel in that role... And defend the pg on defense...
That leaves exum to play the pg on offense and defend the sg... Which looks like a role that he would excel at too
Only chance is if wiggins drops to 2 the bucks might be tempted... But Philly will pick exum up then..

Book it exum is going 2/3 in this draft

I don't understand the appeal for Exum. Or not to this extent.

What's his bcs? Better scoring Rondo with not as good playmaking? 6-6 Tony Parker (which would be nice).

Either of those scenarios, while allstars, I don't see being on that LeBron/Durant level. Yet he's being talked about like that's his upside. A tier 1 ceiling. I don't see it.

(based on the very little footage and two games I have seen -lol)

ESPN said it. Chad Ford said he believes Philly would go for Exum if Wiggins and Parker are gone. Said Milwaukee will consider Exum and would take him over Wiggins, but they still view Embiid and Parker more favorably. Says Orlando is a good bet to take him if he's there.

Whoever drafts Exum will not be disappointed. He is a big guard. He is an explosive guard. It's a deadly combination. He will be a GREAT defender, with his size and after a couple of years he will be able to LOCK DOWN on smaller point guards. Until then he will be fine guarding shooting guards or bigger point guards. His explosiveness and size is really underrated in getting out to contest jump shots. In a couple of years he will be an absolute terror on defense in the backcourt, while coming up with big plays in his rookie season.

His biggest knock is his jump shot. For a prospect like Exum, this is the 'best' knock you can have on his game (if that makes sense). A jump shot is something which can easily be improved especially considering his age and lack of access to the best coaches. He also has the right state of mind for this. He understands what his weakness is and is under no illusion that if he is to really succeed in this league he needs to put the work in. His jumper will be spotty at first but by the time he comes into his own on the defensive side of the ball he will be efficient enough that defenders have to respect him. He's a very level-headed kid who will be working on his game every off season.

Embiid still has the most potential in this draft but I'm telling you, do NOT sleep on Dante Exum.

Yes. Exum grew up on the other side of town to me but I have cousins who are from the same area he is. I regularly played ball with them around there before Exum moved to the AIS. His dad was one of the coaches as well. I don't claim to know him personally but I have been to a few bbqs which he has graced with his presence.

So I will admit there is some bias to my comments.

People are hyping up Exum, Wiggins and Embiid like crazy right now. The thing is, Parker is probably going to be the best player out of these guys for the next 3-4 years and it's not like he's not going to improve either.

This is how the players are ranked as far as I can tell:
Cleveland: Embiid, Parker, Wiggins, trade the pick
Milwaukee: Parker, Exum, Embiid, Wiggins
Philadelphia: Wiggins, Embiid, Exum, Parker
Orlando: Wiggins, Exum, Embiid, Smart, Parker
Utah: Parker

This would mean the top 4 will go:
Embiid, Parker, Wiggins, Exum.

I pray the cavs get embiid so wiggins falls to the sixers.
Cavs will def take Embiid and the Sixers do not like Parker so if Milwaukee wants to take Wiggins, look for Philly to move up to get him.

This might be a smokescreen , might be phillys way to make the bucks pick him so they can get wiggins/embiid or the magics way to make philly pick him so they can get wiggins/parker/embiid

Everything I've read has Embiid, Parker and Exum as Milwaukee's top 3. No Wiggins. They don't appear to be interested in Wiggins for whatever reason at #3.

Also, I don't think there's any chance Philly passes on Wiggins, from what I've read. Still very early, but it appears Wiggins is higher than Exum on Philly's board.

If everything holds to form, I think Exum will either go #2 or #4. But, personally, I think the top 4 will be Embiid #1 overall to Cleveland, Parker #2 to the Bucks, Wiggins #3 to the Sixers and the Jazz taking Exum at #4. That's barring a trade. Just my opinion.

Make them pick Exum? :lol

The fact that Orlando wants Exum isn't going to make Philly select him over Wiggins if they have that option. Same thing goes for MIL with regard to Philly.

Agree with most of your player rankings for the top lottery teams. I also agree that Parker is likely the best player from this draft in the first 3 years. However, I think Embiid is the best player 5 years from now and will end up the best player out of this draft (assuming he doesn't start getting injured). It's an interesting debate, though. I think it comes down to just how much better teams think Embiid, Exum or Wiggins will be than Parker (if they do feel that those players will end up better in 5 years). Parker's probably going to be an All-Star inside of 3 years. Teams owe it to themselves to look at the long-term, but if the benefits of another player over Parker are marginal long-term, that's argument to be made that drafting Parker #1 is worth it because he makes your team immediately better and he's likely to end up only slightly behind 1-3 of the others, if that.
