Larry Sanders although a bonehead is a very good center and very good defensively. Not only that but the dude is HUGE. The guy can rebound and block shots and hes athletic. He only played 20 games last season but the season before that he was averaging close to 10 rebounds per game and 3 blocks accompanied by 9PPG on 61% shooting.
Expect for him to improve even more on those numbers when hes back and healthy.
Ersan Ilyasova, another guy who battled through injuries last season is a VERY underrated player. This guy is a stat machine and a well rounded player. Solid starter at the PF position on a lot of teams.
Giannis Antetokounmpo... Hes going to be a beast. His athleticism paired with his length is something amazing.
Paired with most likely Andrew Wiggins.. I want you guys to see the length of this starting 5..
Larry Sanders - 6'11
Ersan Ilyasova - 6'10
Giannis Antetokounmpo - 6'10
Andrew Wiggins - 6'8
Brandon Knight - 6'3
Not only are they long and athletic, but they are YOUNG.
Give this starting 5 a good bench and in a couple of years you have a contender.

Sanders - played 23 games last year and played garbage, has a lot of issues
Ilyasova - a low FG% chucker
Giannis - potential who knows
Wiggins - skys the limit
Knight - shoot first hugely inconsistent point guard
But it is the East, judging by this years play they could make the 2nd round

There were alot of rumors that Bucks might trade Larry Sanders. I don't know if he'll be around for the future.
If Bucks draft the right guy in the upcoming draft, they'll be pretty good in the future.

I'm a Clipper fan... unless you get super lucky by landing a can't miss player or you sign a top 10 player (not happening in Mil) then the future don't work out that often.
You get a lot of false dawns though.

That team has potential, but it'll need 2-3 years to climb back to the playoffs. Also they have to hope Wiggins, (or Parker) turns into a true top 10 player, or they aren't winning anything.
They'll probably be back near the top of the lottery next year though, so plenty of time to stockpile talent.

No first option.
Wiggins and Knight are at best career third options. Team of athletes with low skills. Won't amount to anything.

If the Hawks don't sign Lance Stephenson, then maybe we can swing a trade for Ilyasova or even OJ Mayo (Lou Williams for Mayo).

Henson really surprised me last year; I never thought he would be able to produce in the NBA with his rail thin frame but he was given minutes last year and produced. Right now they have 2 huge holes (a go-to scorer and a competent point guard) and they are in great position to pick a guy to fill at least one of them this year.
Seeing that they will likely suck next season they should be in a great position to fill that other void.

I agree with this. That's why if I were them I'd consider trading back. I'd almost rather have Exum on this roster. Someone to take the ball out of Knight's hands on the move. And they're both biggish and defend. And Exum has some off the ball game too. To me that would be a better pairing than Wiggins. And if you can get someone desperate for Wiggins you can get a pretty good haul. Worse comes to worse, you could convince me Randle is a better fit there anyway. For all those long athletes, they don't have much in the way of getting buckets guys. I'm still pretty confident you can dump Randle the ball. And all that length will make up for what I'm guessing will be some defensive deficiencies.
The real jewel would be if Embid fell to them. Then they could see what they could get for Sanders for real.

Ilaysova to the Hawks for 100K in cash.
The Hawks have enough cap space to absorb his contract outright.
This is if Stephenson and Turner don't work at small forward, where we have a gaping hole.

That's what I see as Milwaukee best plan is to erase the 30+ million in long term deals and build around the young guys
Giannes/Hardaway jr
Parker or embiid/2015 top 5 pick
Henson
Plus another shot at capspace to fit around that group? Much better than having that group learn to fit around sanders/illyasova/ok

All they need is a point guard who is willing to take every shot for this team. Wheres allen iverson when you need him.

LOL thats a horrible team. Whos the ball handler? Brandon knight is as good as george hill. A 2 guard stuck in a PGs body. He can not facilitate a playoff teams offence. Wiggins at the 2 guard is bad new. Hes 6.7ish and has NO handles, dribbles up to his chest. This team would struggle like crazy to put up points.

Giannis and Sanders for Asik. I'd love it :lol
Suck a dick Smook. We're not trading Giannis.
Anyways, I'm loving our future.
I'd be fine with either Wiggins or Jabari. Jabari has looked surprisingly fit and athletic for his size during the draft workouts. He could be the go-to scorer we need on the team. Giannis has shown point guard instincts and vision in a near 7 foot frame, which makes Knight's lack of vision in a point guard frame much less worrisome. Giannis and Knight could trade off ballhandling/playmaking duties. Giannis can get everyone involved, and Jabari could be that guy to go to at the end.
Wiggins and Giannis would be filthy though. Wiggins is a 6'9" (according to recent measurements) athletic beast with a 44 inch vert and terrific defensive instincts. Giannis is projected to grow to 7 feet tall with a 7'5" wingspan, and has guard like athleticism. The ceiling for those two guys as a wing duo in this league is just absurd. They'd both be 19 years old when they step on court together..just picturing them running the floor and throwing/catching lobs, trapping the **** out of opposing perimeter players.. Considering that Wiggins could have Pippen-like defensive versatility down the road, and that Giannis could seriously be a 7 foot point guard...the potential is just unreal.
