They're all kinds of fcuked.

Melo's all but gone. Bargs is Garbnani. Chandler is meh now. Felton's fat. JR will always be a knucklehead.

Fcuk the Knicks, maaan. :lol

Worser? Really?

To answer your question I would say quite a few. The Knicks have the massive advantage of playing in New York.

I think the only thing they can do is cut ties with Melo, spend a couple years building a supporting cast full of young role players and complimentary guys who can play in the triangle, and try and grab a star in 2016 after these bad contracts have expired.

Lakers are easily in the worst shape ,they just gave a huge chunk of their dough to an injury prone player who can't play at a high level anymore. They can't attract a young, talented coach nor can they acquire any good young players. They have only one draft pick this year, (which they might trade for a veteran LMAO) Their owner is a shit stain on the Buss family underwear. They have one thing going for them, Mitch is an elite GM but if he can bring the Lakers back to relevance within the next 5 years he is the GOAT GM.

Knicks can easily let Melo walk and let Amare expire. Then they have a blank slate for THE greatest mind in NBA history. Sounds alot better.

Too bad that massive advantage is completely neutralized, (and then some) by having James Dolan for an owner.

If they keep melo and make a few adjustments to the roster they will be a contender next year and a guaranteed title in 2015 with all the capspace they will have. They are in a good situation, even if they lose melo they go after love rondo and aldridge and have a pretty good threesome there.

They have the worst owner in the league. This makes going forward in any positive fashion a struggle. However, they are making the right moves to change. Phil Jackson is HUGE and lets you know there is someone with high IQ orchestrating bball operations. They have some big contracts, but they are not ridiculously long like they were a few years ago. They are not that bad off, they will have cap soon and even if Melo leaves, they still have the fact they are in NY

I don't see why people have such great faith in Phil. He's never proven ANYTHING as an evaluator or front office person.

His only move thus far was to completely strike out in getting the sole person he wanted as a coach, and he's probably going to lose Melo too. In all liklihood he'll die or get bored before the Knicks even have time to clean all the shitty contracts out and even start the rebuild.

Melo can go wherever he wants. With Odom as our #1 option we're going to be unstoppable
