what ESPN doesnt realize is that us non Heat fans enjoy the pacers and lance stephenson is exactly what the nba needs.
we need a bad boys pistons type team in the league to mess with fragile children like lebron.
its the only way to weed out the softies

What espn needs to check themselves on is the fact that they should be neutral in reporting their news. Instead we're basically tuning into a fan sports show.
Word of advice, turn espn off.

You honestly believe that Lance flopping all over the place and blowing in lebron's ear is him being a bad boy?
And no, Rodman groping men does not make him a "bad boy" either.

Isiah Thomas was their leading act, while being their leader. It was followed by Bill Laimbeer and Rick Mahorn. Then the rest.

Well when the came up with a whole section of their website called "Heat Index" you knew they were tossing their hat into the Miami ring and impartial coverage of the league was going to take a backseat to catering one one fanbase

i read the article. the writer is apparently a pacers fan who wants a shakeup for his team, and so hoped for a defeat earlier in the series
kinda weird with them only being down 2-3 now but i get it
The Pacers have been living a delusional lie for three years. You can't beat the Heat without a legitimate point guard. You can't beat the Heat with an offensive strategy built around pleasing a 7-footer who averages 10 points and shoots 44 percent from the field. You can't beat the Heat by trolling LeBron James.
I want this to end now. I want Mark Jackson to coach the team next year. I want Stephenson gone before he embarrasses the franchise. And I want a new point guard.

The Pacers have been living somewhat of a lie. Not saying they aren't a good team, but are the really the contenders we peg them to be or are they just in favourable circumstances amongst their conference counterparts ?
I think this is the last clear cut chance for the Pacers to go to the Finals. After this, they have some serious decisions to make for their roster. Then you don't know what will happen to the other teams in the East along with their evaluation process.
Does Miami stay together ? In all likely hood, yes.
What happens to Brooklyn ? How before their injury prone roster becomes too much to handle for a full season again ? Same thing for Chicago and Atlanta, but they have younger cores.
Can Washington and Toronto keep their current talent pool intact, while developing their young core (Wall, Beal and DeRozan, Ross, Valanciunas) ?
Does New York blow everything up or do they go for another run at the playoffs ? I feel Cleveland will be much more formidable here, as they will try to build around Irving, AB, and whatever first overall pick they take.
Does Charlotte continue to build around it's 2nd playoff appearance in team history ?
I think all these teams (not including Miami, since they have already beaten them) will be more than a challenge for Indiana next year.

Simmons is the worst. He doesn't even attempt to hide his bias. There's something about his face that is extremely punchable. He's such a pompous little twerp.
It was an opinion piece. And honestly that game was embarrassing as have the Pacers have been since the All star break. Nobody is trying to watch the Leastern conference

He's not even a Heat fan. He's just tired of the Pacers like Heat fans are. Nobody likes Simmons. Doesnt know shit about basketball.

I've been watching a few shows on ESPN and they all have been talking like Lebron shouldn't have been in foul trouble. Almost like they was trying to hint that star players should get special treatment and shouldn't be able to foul out because it hurts the fans.
To me foul trouble is part of the game and yea I know some of those fouls on Lebron was bs but still

Yes he's a typical Boston crybaby, but I could get past that.
The thing that bothers me is that he acts like he's a basketball god who knows every narrative going on in this league and is constantly making stupid predictions and calling for certain people to get fired or traded. Sometimes he's right, but most of the times it comes across as him just trying to push an agenda or make up a story that isn't really quite there.

He's not a Heat fan... He's two things:
First and foremost, a Celtics diehard which -- to me -- makes him biased toward the Eastern Conference and also gives him a healthy sense of entitlement for the big markets/storied franchises. He really has no business being an "analyst" because of those factors, imo. If you have a clear agenda or narrative you'd like to see play out, why are you given such a large platform on a national stage?
Secondly, he's very open about being a LeBron James fan. He was back in his Cavalier days and he still is. He makes it pretty obvious, too, in his columns, podcasts and as an "analyst."
There was a time when I thought he had a pretty cool style as a columnist, but he has jumped so far over the shark these days it isn't even funny. He's basically just a honk... a fan... which is fine, but please GTFO of my face with that sh!t.

The only thing I agree with is the point guard situation. The rest is literal retardation. Mark Jackson? Seriously? Not even going to comment on him wanting to get rid of their best offensive weapon when Paul George is flat.
