If you took Kobe off the 05-06 team and replaced him with a high IQ player they could be crazy good.

if duncan made the 2006 team. it might have been the only one with 4 guys from the top 10 all time ( assuming lebron wins another title )

90-91 looks pretty good

4 HOF players in thier absolute prime including the GOAT. magic wasnt in his absolute prime, but he was still playing at an MVP level.

edit: wait, i take that back. im gonna have to go with 87-88.

Your list is not objective fact, stop acting like it.

Anyway by your list, it stands right now that 87-88 is the one with 4 out of the 10 even with Duncan hypothetically in the 06 team. What a useless post by you, as usual.

Thinking of the level of the players at a certain year, I gotta go with 1987-88

Prime MJ, Magic at his best, Bird was still raping before he really needed surgery (in the PS), Hakeem "already" really good both ways, Barkley started his prime...
Even 2nd all-nba was great, with Nique, Drexler, Ewing, Malone and Stock.

The defensive potential on 04'. :biggums:

Gotta go with the one with prime Dwight Howard on it, though..

Realistically, I'd take either 67', 88', or 04'. I just like 67's two-way ability. But there's no wrong choice between the 3.

Not one of the choices, but this unit is the same as '87-'88 except you've McHale at his absolute peak instead of Barkley.

Imagine McHale and Hakeem working the low post together.

Not one of the choices, but this unit is the same as '87-'88 except you've McHale at his absolute peak instead of Barkley.

Imagine McHale and Hakeem working the low post together.

They would be better defensively with the front court. Mchale would have the footwork to guard SFs and PFs and Hakeem was very good defensively as well.

But despite that, the 88 team and the 04 team are pretty good. 88 is epic, and the 04 team could be epic defensively with KG and Duncan. The 98 team could be epic defensively too with Payton, Jordan and Duncan. K.Malone was solid defensively that year too.

But 88 team just seems epic. The passing would be beautiful.
