can't really count the first 3 because he wasn't the FMVP, right now it's 2 vs 2, so of lebron 3peats he get 3 rings AND 3FMVP which eclipses Kobe's 2 FMVP

and then it's 4 MVP vs 1

if lebron averaged 30/7/6 in the playoffs and wade won fmvp. would lebron fans count his ring?

Also in a WAY tougher conference and the 2nd title against a tougher team than either the Thunder and Spurs that LeBron beat.

nash has 2 mvps

is he better than oscar, shaq, kobe, hakeem?

parker has a fmvp. is he better than garnett?

kareem only has 2 fmvps and hes arguable goat and routinely ranked ahead of magic who has 3 fmvps

moses malone has 3 mvps. is he better than bird?

IMO modern day success is measured in rings.

and no a role player ring is not the same. you gotta put up big numbers

kobe = 25/5/5 for 3peat
kobe = 30/6/5 for 2peat

combined 27/5/5 championship playoff average

kennethgriffin
05-31-2014, 12:18 AM
Not if LeBron scores 31/16/3/3.
you mean "not if wade averages 31/16/3

but bosh and wade combined average that and more

and with ray its even more insulting

quit acting like Wade/Bosh/Allen combined isnt just as lucky to have

only difference is kobe won 2 without a legendary cast or another HOFer

Meh this is bullshit. That's like saying Malone/Stockton/Reggie Miller/Ewing were scrubs just because they never got a ring. Players can get carried to a ring, like Steve Kerr. Steve Kerr has more rings than Durant, but would you take Steve Kerr over Durant? Individual success is better measured by MVPs, and FMVPs. 1 MVP trophy for Durant is far more worthy as a sidekick ring, like Kerr's. IMO, MVPs+FMVPs are what really count the most.

Lebron has yet to surpass kobe sorry.

I wont bother because the heat have won their 4th straight ECF so i'll let you guys enjoy it because its impressive. But lets not act like Lebron led the cavaliers or anything here to the finals...take a look at his team once more lol they have alot of luxury with that lineup
