Skip Bayless's latest predictions:

San Antonio will not win game 5

Lebron would have an awful game 6.

yet Miami has had no problems beating the best of the West the last 2 years.

please, Miami would murder the shitty defensive west conference. still shits on the west in the regular season and we all know Miami raises its game many levels in the playoffs.

Well, we're gonna have a finals rematch regardless of who wins the west

He's right...

How is that controversial? The Mavs clearly would have been the 2nd best team in the East and while I don't think we beat the Heat...we give them a better series than the Pacers did.

:facepalm

Miami would win in 4-5, seriously. Dallas were not a threat to them in any way, shape, or form. They benefitted from SA playing poorly and matching up well against them. Dallas' wings and perimeter defense would have been absolutely annihilated by Miami. Who is Ellis guarding, how about VC, or Calderon?

You're just being silly if you think that Dallas team was going to cause Miami any problems whatsoever.

Who is guarding Dirk?

How are they stopping the Ellis/Dirk pick and roll? With Wade and Bosh? ROFL...would get murked.

The Mavs actually match up well with a team like the Heat...

And I never said the Mavs win...I said we would have given the Heat more of a series than an awful Pacers team.

Who cares? The rest of the team isn't doing shit against Miami. Ellis/Dirk pick and roll? seriously? Dirk will make a few jumpers over Bosh, but Ellis would get destroyed by a combination of Wade and Lebron. Wade had 8 steals against Dallas in one of the regular season match-ups this season, at the expense of Ellis and Dirk (combined 10 TO's), and yet you think when Miami turn it up in the playoffs (as they do), somehow the Ellis/Dirk pick and roll is going to 'murk' Miami - you are utterly delusional.

Pacers gave Miami more of a run than Dallas would. Against Dallas Miami would've shot around 55% every freakin game. You know, as they did in the regular season. You think a team whose top two guys shot 64TS% and 62TS% respectively, while matched up against George and Stephenson, aren't going to utterly destroy Ellis and a 100-year-old Shawn Marion? They aren't going to find ways of exploiting the abysmal defense of Calderon?

Sorry, but that is a terrible matchup for the Mavs. The more i think about it the more i think sweep.

LeBron! We should have put Bron on him in the finals. All Bron has to guard is the jumpshot because Dirk is not blowing past anyone

Mavs would have got washed

if any team has a case, it's the Grizzlies and that's strictly because of Randolph and Gasol

Skip Bayless is a brainless sack of shit. Anyone who thinks he is a good analyst is a sack of shit. Why does he have to go overboard with every point he tries to make? We all know the east is the weaker conference, but Skip can't stop there, he has to take it to the extreme. The dude is an uninteresting douchebag, how did he ever get on tv in the first place?

Miami had no problems against San Antonio? Is that why they needed a Duncan choke and an Allen Miracle 3 pointer? :applause:

Who is guarding a 21\6 Dirk who is way past his prime? ::lol
Monta Ellis?

Wade was matched up against one of the best defenders in the league in P.G, swarmed all series long and still averaged 20\5\5 on over 50% from the field, and his stats were lowered by a game 6 massacre.

LeBron averaged 22\6\5 on over 50% from the field with a horrid game 5 (thanks refs)

Ellis and Marion would literally get destroyed, with both Wade and Bron averaging 25+ PPG

And please tell me you're not delusional enough to think Dirk had some amazing NBA Finals against the Heat. He actually under performed. Wade outplayed Dirk in every way shape and form except for that game 2 game winner in which Wade had 36\5\6 anyways. Thank a Wade injury in game 5 and LeBron choke job for that ring.

This years Heat would literally STEAMROLL this years Mavericks. If you won 1 close game in Dallas you would be lucky. With LeBrons head in the game, Wade being healthy, and all the shooters the Heat have, the Mavericks would get 120 points scored on them every game. 4-1 series at best.
