The dude just called this season a "success," and claimed that OKC has improved in a lot of ways....

Gifted Bran a ring. Never forgive him for that.

And what about Pop?

...If Duncan is on the court in the last moments of Game 6, Bosh might not get that rebound and pass it to Allen

And at least he made Bran work hard for it.

Did anyone ask him about the midget lineup?

What did you want him to say? His team is devastated and he is trying to keep their morale somewhat high. Thats his job as a guy who is looking out for his players.

He also had to deal with a major westbrook injury and playing Durant a ton of minutes in order to keep pushing for home court in a tough western conference. Then Durant disappeared in the finals and hes got the ultimate alpha/ghetto homeboy Westbrook who will not learn when to attack and when to let Durant take control.

Brooks is in a situation where he has talent loaded at the top a la the Heat, but he has a superstar that refuses to play team ball consistently.

Brooks is no worse than Spo. The heat almost NEVER score off a time out and that is when coaching is featured most prominently. When they have a chance to run a play with a blank slate. Brooks isnt nearly as bad as people try to pin on him, its just a case of not having certain pieces and a major piece they do have not listening.

I'd love to see a split screen with Brooks' press conference and Durant/Westbrook's reaction when he said that. But I guess he's just trying to be positive.

lol, notice how good coaches like Pop have someone go down and they don't miss a beat. plus all of his players get run in the regular season so when it comes to the postseason he isn't scared to give anyone minutes

Sorry Scotty, but a WCF appearance just doesn't quite cut it bud.

Just lost to the team that you beat in 2012?

If enough OKC fans dislike Brooks, why not put pressure on the management to fire him and start game chants and put up signs everywhere?

I don't know a OKC fan on here who likes him

To be fair, they were missing Ibaka, which was huge and they had next to no chance of stealing one of the first two games on the Spurs' home floor.

brooks is an average coach.bad rotations and usage of players but nice plays outta timeouts( today got durant open for three twice in a row in the end) and he maximizes his stars potential.
somewhat on the detrimental of the other players doe

I wish we would, IDK why we don't.

That shit almost never happens in the NBA though, especially for teams who make the conference finals basically every year.

In the long run OKC should be consistent favorites moving forward in like what, 2 years? OKC should get a good coach now.

Spurs will be done and the Heat will be too barring them acquiring more ringchasers to surround LeBron and Bosh.

okc took a top 2 team -one of the nba's elite franchises- to six in the wcf, despite:

a key injury to their only competent defensive player
an anemic bench
having to play through three curses: one incurred from stealing the sonics, one by making one of the cheapest and most arrogant trades in recent memory, and one from lil b

seriously, no coach can turn that coat-rack of scrubs into gold. best to ignore the haters; bestbrook and kd had a pretty good run, overachieving if anything :confusedshrug:
