View Full Version : Do you think Popovich faked Tony Parker's injury?

Or at least exaggerated it?

It was way too obvious the way he made Parker hold up a hot towel on the outside of his shoe to keep his ankle warm. :facepalm Anyone that plays basketball or any sport could tell that wasnt going to work and if he wanted to keep the ankle warm if would have to go out and actually play.

Well no point in pretending to keep it warm if he wasnt going to play anyways....

I have a feeling he did. Parker was being killed by WB on offense and defense.

I think he was pulled because he was playing badly, and this was a way of not embarrassing him.

I don't think it's a fake but I think it was fashioned in such a way that Tony Parker didn't lose face. The reality is ... everyone has some type of injury this time of year.

Parker sucked. Westbrook was killing him and Pop decided to yank him early for the sake of the team. Making up the injury was a way to save Tony the embarrassment of looking miserable on the bench while his team won the game without him.

Shhhhh don't tell the franch people this. They may cry in dispair that their french hero was not and asset to the spurs' win...

Oh for sure.

HOF coaches always hold their most import players out of series clinching games,

Honestly who wouldn't.

Why is there no emoji for full on retard?

Someone make one of Ben Stiller playing the retard in Tropic Thunder.

The Spurs need TP more for the Heat than they did against OKC.

The Heat spread the floor much like San Antonio likes to do so the lane is going to be open and that is where TP can thrive.

I suspect the Spurs felt the other guards game them a greater chance to win and they need TP at 100% for the Heat.

If the injury is real... well know it's LeBrons* voodoo work.

All I see is asterisks.
