Not hating but.. What can you do with your speed that I couldn't with 50mb/s? Servers today still have a lot of catching up to do.

Servers will also use google fiber. problem solved.

Does this mean I will be able to watch a 5 minute youtube video without having it buffer every 30 seconds?

Oh yeah? Right on. I've been to Calgary a couple times (I go to the Canadians Rockies quite a bit), but never been to Edmonton.

Yea Edmonton is more recent to me, I grew up a couple hours south of Calgary. The Rockies are great, I'll usually check out Waterton every summer.

Waterton is really nice. Shit tonne of bears.. saw more there than anywhere else, though Glacier National Park in Montana was a close second.

It's things like this that makes me realize that, sometimes, I REALLY hate living in Arkansas. That shit isn't ever going to make its way to Arkansas, or at least not any time soon.

56 k days were dope. The world stood still that 45 minutes to download that 3 minute clip of porn.

Remember when it took me hours to download one music file. Man, I appreciate what we have now being apart of that generation. I guess people who haven't are obsessed with faster and faster, yet most of us are still like this is enough speed.

That's probably your ISP attempting to steal YouTube's lunch money and youtube refused to pay. Read up on net neutrality, basically Internet providers crying about netflix and youtube using too much bandwidth so they have to pay special fees in order to have the "fast" lanes.

It's funny how ISP's claimed they would not slow down access to Netflix, instead they would not grant them access to the "hyperspeed" lanes. That was bs, the normal speed to netflix decreased dramatically until netflix finally payed up.
