Lol
Lebron led the NBA with the best record in Cleveland
how is it a bad supporting cast if he has the BEST record???
keep trying bro

and Kobe supporting cast was never good in half those years

Kd supporting cast is all 25 and younger still til this day
so your talking about players at 21-23 years old

Shouldn't 97 & 98 count towards Shaq? Kobe was on the bench and the lakers had 2 all stars starting in front of him.

08,11,12,

Vlad ramonovic as a starter as Luke Walton as a 6th man = great supporting cast

So a team with Mo Williams as the second best offensive player is a "great supporting cast"?

Playoff basketball =/= Regular season

Mo williams and delonte west isnt exactly an all star backcourt is it? They could hit shots in fast pace reg season, but once slow, half court playoff basketball kicks in they cant do anything.

Yeaa but isnt Shaq + all stars a great supporting cast for Kobe?? :facepalm

So you want me to dismiss Kobe's 90's career by admitting he was a bench warmer? :lol

IF YOU CAN GET THE BEST RECORD IN THE LEAGUE THEN OBVISOULY U DUMB 4SS
YOU DONT WIN WITHOUT A SUPPORTING CAST
IT WAS A WELL BALANCED TEAM. YOU TALKING LIKE KD AND KOBE ALWAYS HAD A SUPPORTIN CAST
YOUR TALKING ABOUT 2011 OKC WHEN RUSS AND KD WAS LIKE 20-22 YEARS OLD
HOW IS THAT GOOD??
BUT YOU WANNA ACT LIKE LEBRON ALWAYS HAD BAD TEAM.

OKAY BUT I WOULDNT COUNT THAT TEAM, BUT IF YOUR GONNA COUNT HALF THE TEAMS HE CHOSE FOR KD AND KOBE THEN GOT TO ADD THE TEAMS LEBRON WAS ON

HE HAD BETTER RECORDS THEN KD AND KOBES TEAM SO HOW IS HIS SUPPORITN CAST WORSE????

YOUR CHOOSING EVERYTHING U CAN FOR KD AND KOBE TO MAKE LEBRON BETTER

HOW ABOUT BEING FAIR???

Derrick Rose's 2011 bulls team won 60 + games but no one holds it against him because we all knew he didnt have much of a supporting cast. Regular season wins isnt always a good indication for playoff supporting cast

And a team of Durant Westbrook and Harden is a great supporting cast even at the age of 22 :facepalm Its vastly better than whatever LeBron had in Cleveland

the funny thing is Lebron "BAD" supporting cast but had better records then most of those kobe and KD teams, but KD and Kobe had better teamates.?????

He was a 6th man up until 99. He easily could have started but his coach wasn't favorable to rookies and he had 2 count them 2 all star guards ahead of him.

No doubt he could have put up 20ppg on 19 shots his rookie year while
missing the playoffs..but that wasn't the circumstance he was in

Jus funny that when Kobe puts up 29/7/6 it "doesn't count" but when he was coming off the bench averaging 20 mpg it's "all his fault"

Still waiting to hear how 08 was a great supporting cast?

regardless its not good supporting cast. I understand what you are saying i respect it. But your making it like KD and Kobe had all star teamamtes there whole career. There team was just as bad as lebrons and some of kobes were alot worse. Kobe had some crappy teams, and he added them as GOOD suppoting cast
if those Kobe teams were GOOD then those Lebrons teams were just as good

Kobe was not a star until at the earliest the 00 season...really didn't become elite superstar until 01.

So anything before 00 is not relevant.

I dismissed Kobe's 2005-2007 didnt I? I even dismissed Kobe's 2014 since he was injured. And I dismissed Durant's 2007-2010 because durant and westbrook werent as good then. I feel I am being completely fair in this regard, by showcasing teams with great talent for each star.

are better than Westbrook, Durant , Jeff Green, Ibaka, Harden?

And LeBron was only 22 as well :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :biggums:

Really? That explains a lot about the person that created this thread then, Kobe wasn't considered a star till about 2001.

Wait I saw you saying the East is weak in another thread. Which is it? The east is weak, or LeBron taking Cleveland to the finals = dominating a strong conference?

Kobe wasn't even Kobe yet until '00. '97-'99 he was still young and developing coming off of the bench. He had to earn his strips because the Lakers already had an All-Star backcourt with Eddie Jones/Nick Van Exel. I do think he deserves some blame for losing in 2003 and 2004, but I'm not sure if you can really describe those teams as "great." And are you really going to ignore that he had a season ending injury in 2013?
