not totally sure what i'm doing, but it's fun.

use the arrow keys to slide the numbered tiles around, adding same-numbered tiles together. object is to hit 2048 on the nose.

Keep it on one side. In the picture you posted you should never go left. Just use -> and down. Up should only be used if absolutely necessary or your right side is filled (four tiles). That way nothing can slip under the lowest tile which should always be the tile with the highest value.

I've beaten it several times now with a highest score of 35,000+. It's addictive until you beat it.

I was pretty hooked for about two weeks. Then I beat it a couple times and got away from it. I eventually got to the same approach as miss bella up there. Just keep driving the tiles into the same corner. I always used that lower right corner for whatever reason, but I suppose it doesn't matter. Every once in a while you'll have to come out of that corner, and if you get your biggest tile into a corner, just always drive everything toward it.

Wasn't "Threes" the first version of this kind of game to come out? I remember playing that a few months ago.

yea the 'about' says it's based on 1024 and threes.
