How the hell does this shit even happen. What ****ing motivation is there to do this? I at least could understand evil shit like kidnapping for a ransom, but random murder? ****ing savages. The national news should be outraged that crazy shit like this seem to happen so often

What makes a lot of people do stupid things, especially in urban areas? Narcissism, lack of parental involvement, and grandiose ideas of self worth.

No kids to watch these two little ones and the guy doing the stabbing was probably raised the same way. Even if some small kid "steps to him" and "disrespects" him by being too loud or looking at him, he deserves to die. WORLD STAR WORLD STAR

Sick ****ing world and when parents arent involved the culture becomes a parody of itself in no time flat. Things that used to be shunned become embraced, and true achievements give way to "getting whats mine" or whatever other bullshit term people like to use. Look at marriage-less birth rates, crime rates, etc. and compare them from 1950 to 2010, especially in the black community.

Its ****ing shocking how the community itself is a breeding ground for day to day killers. it is not nearly as sensationalized as when a white kid in a white neighborhood kills 6 people, but its common place in Chicago, BK, etc. Mass murderers regarded as heroes not villains.

I hope the Jesse Jackson's and Sharptons of the world are put on trial by the very community they are screwing over and getting rich off of. They are the ultimate enablers.

6 is too damn young to allow to go out alone like that .. I don't know .. I guess I'm spooked from all the crime you hear about .. and just too many perverted people walking around targeting little kids for their own sick, twisted pleasures .. just not a good move to allow the little ones out alone like that .. I can't imagine allowing my niece who's 8 now out by herself anywhere, let alone when she was 6 .. parents should know better these days .. either way, this shit doesn't surprise me anymore .. fkn nutjobs walking all around

No its not typical. For a parent to not monitor a 7 and 5 year old is not in anyway ok, regardless of what some may believe. Thats what an irresponsible parent does, not someone who knows what it means to raise another life.

I would never let my kids at that age do their own thing. They arent 17 with a car and can look out for themselves.

The monster is the son of a bitch who did the stabbing, but its the parenting of letting 2 little kids do their own thing unsupervised that will lead to another generation of monsters.

That same mom who has no idea who the childs father is (not saying thats the case here) that lets a 7 year old take an elevator down to the ground floor and play on the street near driving cars unsupervised, is the same one that doesnt care when her kid gets in trouble for fighting at school or gets suspended for missing 2 weeks of class in a row.

How am I reaching? Simple parenting would have likely saved that child's life. The kid was 6 years old and you're letting him wander around like that? What happened is absolutely tragic. And I hope the murderer dies the worst death possible. But how can you say "im reaching"? No supervision at all is putting your kids at risk.

Yeah, 6 years old is definitely too young to go around unsupervised in public, but I mean if that asshole was enough of a psycho to stab a 6 year old I don't think it would have made too much of a difference if he was 10 or 13.

I don't know if the world is getting more messed up, but when I was a kid (the 90s) all of us kids went out and were fine. I didn't grow up in the hood though, so what do I know about how it is for those people living under those conditions

I do agree, but it seemed as if the situation was the kids going outside their residence to get ice cream and return. Tragic as ****, i guess i dont see the danger because im in a extremely low crime area and not a city. I guess i'm just immune to actualizing this type of situation.

You trippin' man... You don't even know the full facts behind this case and you're acting like a know-it-all, how do you know the kids didn't just decide to slip out for ice cream themselves? We all did shit when we was 6-7 years old and played with our friends outside, what's up with this bullshit monitoring.... you're acting like stabbing/murdering children is a common thing in a civilized world...

Of course a 6 year old getting stabbed turns into people talking about Chicago, which truly has nothing to do w/ the story besides a relation to Taj Gibson.
