That is some of the worst help I have ever seen.

Horace the only other player in double figures, with 10 points off of 3 for 17 shooting :lol

Followed by Craig Hodges getting 8 points off 3 for 13.

Pippen 1/10 :facepalm

Armstrong 1/8 :facepalm

15/63 was the Bulls minus Jordan. Damn. (23.8 fg%)

Wasn't denying that. Pippen obviously single handedly kept the Pistons out of triple figures.

Also, that whole game is on youtube, and Jordan should have had about 13 assists. His teammates missed a TON of layups and easy shots inside especially in the 4th. They were clearly shook. Hysterical to see.

He was the coach in 89-90 too. Probably was more so Grant/Scottie developing and growing more confident, and the team (MJ especially) buying into the offense.

Whoever said that?
No one has ever said that. And be serious anyway.

Ive never seen a player that's been so minimized (like Pippen) take so much flack for one game. Not to mention a game where he is injured. He played well in the other six games.

Game 1
16/5/4 50%

Game 2
17/7/1 46%

Gane 3
29/11/5 56%

Game 4
14/6/4 63%

Game 5
19/9/5 25%

Game 6
19/5/3 54%

And let's be clear. Pippen was said to have had that migrane BEFORE the game started. You guys act as if he had a bad game and then used that as an excuse.

It's game 7 of the ECF! Migraine or no migraine, man up. 1-10 fg is just downright pathetic for a second option. Him and Grant were a combined 4-27 fg.

Michael Jordan's wife, Juanita, mocked Pippen for being a pansy after the game. Jordan himself, was livid, went to the back of the team bus, screamed in exasperation and cried, while his father consoled him.

Having THAT as a second option must have been infuriating in big games. You do everything you can to win and your second guy is whinging because of migraine.

I've had migraines. If I were being paid millions of dollars a year, I'd sure as heck man up and play the biggest game of the year.If you wouldn't, I understand. Maybe you don't have the testicular fortitude that the rest of us do, and therefore you find it completely acceptable to wuss out.

Thanks for letting us all know that you're a bi##h who wouldn't play in that situation even if you were paid big time $ to do so

Migraines are no joke. Forced Terrell Davis from the Broncos into early retirement.

Right now, I've got a headache and I feel almost useless. 10x's worse, I don't care how much I'm getting paid, I'm gonna be a mess. I'd still try to play though.

:oldlol: at diminishing that migraine. He could barely even see--he had trouble distinguishing between Bulls and Pistons. He should not have even been playing under those conditions.

Yeah--especially from 1991-1998.

This is why MJ gets so much hate: MJ wins--but his team loses.

This is just ignorant. I doubt that you've ever had a migrane. Theres a reason migraines are distinguished from headaches. They are much worse. And its not just the pain. Blurred vision, dizziness, your eyes are extremely sensitive to light. You try making jumpshots under those circumstances. Along with getting beat up by Mahorn, Rodman, and Laimbeer. Just ignorant.

And the cold part is that he (Pippen) played 45 min. When Jabbar had his migraine, he only played 30 and scored 6 pts.

Hmmm His team wasn't present at all. So Mj should take layups for them. He can only pass them the ball. The only difference next year they made the Damn shots.

That's all we can expect. You'd try to play. Scottie didn't want to and mumbled when asked by the Bulls trainer if he could play. MJ stepped in and sarcastically told Pippen to take Advil if his head hurts and that "hell yeah he's gonna play."

A flu is hardly a joke and I'm pretty useless when I've got the flu. Having said that, a certain Michael Jordan, flu ridden and all, played a game 5 in Utah in the 1997 finals because it was needed.
Dwyane Wade similarly played with the flu in game 6 of the 2006 ECF against Detroit.

The fact that you would try to play speaks to your guts - something that this other guy obviously and conspicuously lacks any of.:applause:

Yup, they were getting closer and closer. They lost to them 3 straight years, winning more games each year. In the 1989 and 1990 ECFs, the Bulls won more games against the Pistons (2 in 1989 and 3 in 1990) then the Western conference champions (0 wins for the Lakers in the 89 finals and 2 wins for Portland in the 1990 finals).

Bob Greene's book "Hang Time"
and a later David Halberstam book "Playing for Keeps".
