Worth a read even if you don't play 2k, absolutely genius.

He rigs the league by planting an expanding group of impossibly awful players who gradually come to be the majority as the good players retire. PERs go out of control as the average player is so terrible it throws the numbers off. I think Kyrie had a PER of 67 in like 2024. Its not realistic its just funny to read the simulated results.

Nerlens Noel ends up like 5 time MVP but cant get a ring....he and Anthony Davis are the last real players left in like 2030 and battle it out to see who wins...and noel ends his career ringless because his awful point wont get him the ball.

Andrew Bynum retired in 2025????

He probably went to Phoenix :lol

Also in the 2024-2025 season: "After 14 seasons together, the Thunder's Durant-Westbrook-Ibaka nucleus is finally broken. Serge Ibaka retires at the end of the season"

2026-2027: Kyrie Irving, still with the Cavaliers, has won his fifth consecutive MVP award.

I liked the part when the Bobcats won the title. Also the final which took 12 overtimes for a winner.

This is just too damn good. Obama staying prez in 2018. :lol

2016-17

NBA teams are still deftly avoiding Doomsday players at all costs, with one exception. The Knicks don't seem to understand how terrible these players are. Inexplicably, they've filled half their roster with Doomsday players, almost all of whom finish with Player Efficiency Ratings (PERs) in the negatives.

"At the end of the season, there is a catastrophic exodus of talent. Five Hall of Famers retire, including Anthony Bennett."

"He drains five of only seven shots. His teammates simply will not feed him the ball. In contrast, the Hawks' point guard, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, is 1-for-9. Bob Humann, most egregiously, is 2-for-18."

"Charlotte, at long last, has its NBA title. Anthony Davis has carried them there singlehandedly, but he's delivered one final insult on his way out of the league. The Finals MVP award is given instead to point guard Moses Pippy. Throughout the playoffs, Pippy has averaged 3.3 points per game, shooting .284. There is absolutely no logic behind it."

"The Magic are 0-for-193 from the field before Sammy Tentoes hits the game-winning three. Orlando and Denver shoot a combined 1-for-372, or .003. It doesn't matter where they shoot from."

All of this was pretty funny, but I almost spit my drink out when i read "After 20 years of not coaching Don Nelson at 82 decide to return to coach."

That is actually hilarious towards the end.

It's a funny concept, but funny shit is gonna happen regardless in NBA 2k.

With decent writing behind it, it will be funny.
