Is that enough to get a superstar player? What could the Cavs get for that deal?

No it isn't enough for a superstar since any team that has one wouldn't trade him. Unless a superstar is demanding out there isn't anything you could trade for one unless you somehow were guaranteed 2 superstars.

I wouldn't give up Brandon Jennings for Irving. Jennings is a better passer.

Hard question to ask, they would have to get the right player to convince LeBron to come back (assuming this is why they are making a trade),

Waiters + incoming player + Bennett,

I don't know if thats enough,

Would the Thunder give up Westbrook for this?

The Thunder could then draft Embiid and have a lineup of:

Irving
Sef
Durant
Ibaka
Embiid

I think Cavs would potentially package Bennett with Irving + #1 pick just to clear him off the books. I'm certain Wolves would take that deal unless they're hoping that Love changes his mind.

Could definitely see Houston sending out Harden for this package than potentially trading #1 to Sixers for #3 + #10 or to Orlando for #4 + #12 + prospect (with Morey potentially re-flipping those assets), although that would take huge balls and potentially really tick off Dwight. If Houston pulled this off, they then could flip Asik for Millsap and use those above assets to make a move to upgrade on the wing (either with the picks or trading Parsons + pick(s) for a superstar wing). Also unsure if Cleveland wants Harden when they have Waiters.

Unsure which superstar it would take to lure LBJ back to Cleveland, if that's all this trade serves.

If KD went to Presti and demanded either he or Westbrook get traded, I don't think Presti could get better value on short notice than that package. If that were to happen, I could see Presti flipping Perkins + #21 for Affalo.

Remember how people criticized the Clippers for trading that #1 to Cleveland that turned into Kyrie? Would Doc accept Kyrie + #1 for CP3? If Cleveland wanted to get LeBron, then they could do Bennett + Kyrie + expiring + #1 for CP3. They've wanted to play with each other for a decade now. Cleveland would then need to get a legit stretch PF, round out the bench, and sign LBJ. Need to look up their cap situation, but could they do Varajao + pick for Millsap, then sign Gortat or trade for Asik?

CP3-Waiters-LBJ-Millsap-Gortat in the East would be ECF lock I'd think for next few seasons, provided CP3 doesn't break down (maybe he gets less wear/tear facing fewer great offensive PGs out East).

Clippers, if they trade #1 to Sixers for #3 + #10 (then trade down #10 for two picks in the teens) could end up with Wiggins + Payne + J. Young/Hood potentially.

Not likely to ever happen, but intriguing.
