Chalk it up to ESPN that slurps bran to write bullshit like this. I don't even need to read this shit to realize that.

How was wade a shell of himself in the finals?:biggums:

Season saving game. And he played great in game 7.
Yup, if the Heat go down 3-1 there was no way they were winning the series.

Last year in the final, when LeBron and Wade was on the court at the same time, the heat was -57...When LeBron was on the court and Wade was on the bench, the heat was +57
But this year Wade is better, so I do not think the heat will be -57 again

They were only better when he was struggling. No doubt a somewhat healthy wade is an improvement. He's still a top ten player.

Wade's been good and healthy in the playoffs this year.
Though, he was in great shape and was still a top 5 player in 2011 and even back then Lebron and Wade would struggle on the court together.
But, as time went on they developed plays where they work off of each other.
I think they work well together now.

I don't think they are, if only for the mind-blowing invincibility of the Heat when he and Lebron are feeling it at the same time (Double-MJ mode) - not to mention their insane fast break chemistry.
BUT It's a perfectly valid question & a good debate topic, especially seeing how he's kind of the ''outsider'' in terms of playing style: iso-oriented, traditional role, Not a major outside threat )
Seeing how the season has unfolded so far, I'd also be curious to know if the Thunder would have performed better without WB in the playoffs. The fact is Durant was less sensational from the moment WB returned this season.
Otoh, WB outplayed Durant in the playoffs... KD will have to get injured a few games next year so we can see what a fully unleashed WB looks like !

Also wade was just as good as lebron the first 3 games against Indiana, and was a big part in that run in the 4th of game 2 last series.
If by just as good, you mean he got most of his opportunities working off of LeBron, then yes, he was just as good. What you can say was he was doing a great Robin impression, I'd agree with that.

This could have been argued last year's playoffs when Wade was a net -50 or so when he was on the floor, but obviously his being healthy and productive makes this a stupid narrative.

Wade could be doing **** all and still command respect from the defenders. That's where this big three is a killer.
