Man, it would be so awesome if we did well at this tournament. Most of you aren't really aware of the situation in Belgium (because, who gives a shit, right?), but we are a very divided country.

There's the Flemish (dutch speaking) and the Walloon (French speaking) part. I'm Flemish btw. Recently a separatist party won the elections which creates a lot of tension.

It might sound superficial but one of the things keeping us together is our football team. People are superhyped on this team and it's awesome. I really hope we do well, for the sake of this country.

Hmm, he was quite invisible actually. The thing is, Algeria hardly ever attacked (Only one shot on goal, and that was the penalty...), so yeah, our defense had quite an easy job.

I expect the Devils to be playing way better in the next few matches. South-Korea and Russia actually play ball, rather than clogging up their own half.

Still don't like the idea of playing 4 CB's.. Lack of width offensively, less technical than the fullbacks. Vertonghen is a pretty good passer so it would make sense to play him at LB over who ever they are starting there.

Not like it matters since it looks like Russia are going to play very conservative and aren't going to have any one in the lineup who'll challenge the CB's on the flanks(a guy like Dzaegov makes sense...) I just hate it when these managers go ultra conservative with talented players on the bench.

Glad to see Origi beasting, although it's kind of sad for Lukaku (who really needs to step up).

Hazard had a rough time, because of Russia's constant double teaming. But as soon as he got some space, he was stellar as it should be. Awesome player. Mertens was really solid, as well as Fellaini and De Bruyne (in the first half). The rest was pretty terrible. Mirallas proved to be a nice sub though. Good thing we have such a deep bench.
