for the heat, the only contenders are lebron and wade and maybe bosh with an outside shot, but even if bosh wins FMVP, it doesnt look that out of place. But if the spurs win, there are a number of players who could win the FMVP. Which spurs' player has a chance to become the worst FMVP winner of all time? I think both Leonard and Diaw have a decent chance at being the best spurs player in this series, how much value would the award lose if someone like Diaw won a FMVP? No disrespect to Diaw ofc, great player but not someone i would consider FMVP worthy

Worst to realistically win it for SA? .. Kawhi Leonard or somebody lesser

Best to realistically win it for SA? ... Duncan or Parker ... maybe Manu

If there was a "playoff MVP", Duncan would probably be leading the race for SA imo.

TD is leading the Spurs in minutes (33 mpg), rebounds (9 rpg), blocks (1.4 bpg), and pretty much tied with Parker in scoring (17 ppg).

Lol this thread is so stupid. If they win FMVP, they deserve it. Chances are they wouldn't have won the series without them. If Green wins it because of his outside shooting, he deserves it. He's not the "worst" to win it though. There is no "worst."

... read the first post, no one is saying they dont deserve it, but ur telling me that if someone like diaw or green winning FMVP this year wouldnt make them the worst FMVP of all time

How the hell would Manu be the "worst" FMVP of all time? He's hall of fame bound.

I think Boris and Danny Green are the contenders. Patty Mills with an outside shot if Parker is hurt.

I'd say Leonard as well but I think he has the potential to be a really good player, so a FMVP could just be the first real breakout achievement for him. Same can't be said for the other 3 above.

you mean who has the worst odds of winning a FMVP this year and Vegas will actually offer the bet?

who knows, but they have to let you bet on the Jets chance on winning the superbowl apparently.

but yes Ginobuli/Leonard probably have equal odds.

and Wade.
