Cliff notes:
-Crazy guy dressed in camo, carrying a couple rifles, knives and a crossbow stands in the middle of the street, presumably just to lure police officers to the scene, goes berserk and kills 3 cops, and wounding two others.

-Apparently manages to get away from the police and find his way to a heavily wooded area, police think they have him surrounded but really they have no clue where the f*ck the guy went after hitting the woods.

-Manhunt ensues, we got police coming from all over the province trying to find this guy, nearly 24 hours after the incident and he is nowhere to be found. This is Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. We've never seen anything of these likes before, quite a surreal experience seeing the whole city shut down, tons of cops in riot gear around, choppers flying overhead, etc.

Yep. The first shooting was about 23 hours ago. They are still searching the city for him. Apparently they know the basic area that he might be in, but it's a mostly wooded area and he was seen popping in and out by civilians this morning but I think the last sighting was around 8am.

Still alive! I'm not really worried personally, I'm not in the city currently but I do work just a couple blocks down from the original shooting. Got off work at 8 and couldn't get out of the city until 1-2 AM through all the commotion. It was a pretty wild scene, never saw that many cops and sirens in one place. Chopper flying overhead, almost reminded me of that True Detective shootout scene.

Glad he gave up peacefully. Could have been a lot worse and the fact he was on the run for 30 or so hours, that it was raining for a few hours at the time combined with an extremely heavy police presence was a recipe for disaster for the shooter.
