Maybe.

But that's why you have tons of paid trainers to fill you with fluids and massage it out so you can get back on the floor.

Only player I've ever seen miss TWO playoff games because of cramps. Coincidence?

come up with a game where the ac was broken in the playoffs and the player that had the cramp played x amount of minutes and has a middle name that starts with the letter "y".

droid has to be embarrassed to let anyone see his inane rambling in real life. i bet his body fat percentage equals how many minutes lebron played tonight.

in sports...cramps happen. along with a lot of other weird injuries because everyone is different. i wonder if you trolled about terrell davis getting migraines and having to exit bronco's games back in late 90's? or when steve nash's back used to seize up on him and get really tense(hint hint....he could feel a cramp coming on) and would have trainers lay him out for minutes at a time stretching and hydrating him. they even used to use to roller on his back in phoenix, thats how serious it was

Sure, if you find me a game in Playoffs in the past 20 years which had a broken AC.

Since you're a Kobetard, at least LeBron didn't play with an "injured" ankle and chuck his team out of a Finals game. What was it? 8 points on 20 shots in 37 minutes?

Cramps can happen to any athlete, doesn't matter how many trainers they have. Although, it is important for the trainers be prepared for situations like this, I thought the Heat trainers did the best job they could.

At the end of the day, it's unfortunate and James tried to come back but his own coach stopped him. I don't see James being anymore effective than he already could have. The Spurs also had the momentum. Heat will just need to regroup and the Heat should be prepared.

Whenever it comes to these kinds of things, everyone's all of a sudden a doctor. And it's always the same people that criticize every aspect of a player (regardless of what it is) that are the ones denying the effect of an injury. The same way all Kobe haters last year were trying to say it was his own fault for playing too many minutes at the end of the season that his tendon gave away. If certain people don't like a player, they'll look at every single thing as a negative, regardless of how ignorant they are on a subject.

To be honest that part doesn't matter to me. Whether it was his call or not I don't care because it doesn't change what was happening. I was watching the game with a friend who abhors LeBron, but when he went down he didn't say a thing. Why? Because he's a medical student and knows about these kinds of things. We were just both disappointed in the ending but it was 94-92 when he came out, so it's not like Miami didn't have their chance.

OK.

But what about the 7 minutes between cramps and the end of the game? Are they trying to say its impossible.to get back to a point where you can play? Because that is utter nonsense.
Um, depending on the severity of a cramp it can take over a day to get better...

You ain't playing on a bad cramp. Hell ****ing no. Anyone who's ever played ball knows this. You get a cramp you're DONE.

But Lebron was still acting like a primadonna with the OMG I'M HURT CARRY ME TO THE BENCH *SWOON*.

LeBron's cramp seemed serious. His quad was obviously tightening up in the third quarter, that's why he came out of the quarter at the 6 minute mark. He should have drank some damn gatorade when he was on the bench or got an IV.

In all my time watching and playing sport I have never witnessed anyone besides Lebron allowing cramps to take them out of a game.

some people suffer from it more. Severe cramping isn't easy to play through, your muscle just locks up and won't move it isn't like a strain where you just get pain the muscle just goes hard. And why would lebron take himself out of the game when his team is winning in a game 1 of the finals :facepalm

You know who usually gets cramps? Rec league players not properly hydrated or provided with proper nutrients.

You know who pretty much never gets cramps? Professional athletes with professional trainers and dieticians sitting courtside with them.

So... what happened here?

It happens all the time to NFL players who don't hydrate.

have you ever had a cramp in a game before? And not just 1 mild one btw, one that paralyses your whole leg?

Lebron played 33 mins prior to missing the last 6-7mins of the 4th...kinda obvious he was exerting more energy and effort than anyone else on the court, and not to mention him coming away with the highest production for his team as well as his team being up 5pt (or 7pt) when he had to sit

but keep it going cramping experts...he should of definitely "done more"
