Team Sky uses it like crazy and won the last 2 real-est endurance contests. It's just fact most people can't even make those climbs at all, let alone at that pace. Anybody who ever did those rides in the Alps, even at any speed, knows what is up with hydration, endurance and gatorade.
Although it still remains true that black tea is better for hydration than any of these high-powered high-priced sports drinks. It just doesn't taste as good to some.

But another question is did anybody else fall out besides James? I didn't see anybody else the other night. And it's like this is the first time a team ever did that? Shoot that's been a NBA strategy since there ever was air conditioning. Couldn't even sit in Boston lots of games in the 70s & 80s almost thought they didn't just turn off the AC but turned on the heaters.
