But he put it ALL on himself by going to Miami. Would he be getting the hate he does in Cleveland, or had he not gone to a super team?
When you make a STACKED TEAM, you inevitably become the main target and expectations for not 5, not 6, not 7.. but 8+ rings (sorta)

Something about LeBron attracts a lot of criticism and scrutiny. LeBron missed out on a father growing up to teach him how to do certain stuff and not half-hazardly. LeBron didn't really learn how to be a respectable man and a lot of the times that spurns people to call him out for embarrassing stuff that he says/does and his demeanor on a basketball court.
LeBron is the whipping boy until his habits are worthy of respect. In prehistoric times, LeBron would be outed very quick for being weak. In todays age, we have to bare through the circus year after ****ing year.
We're all used to guys like MJ, Kobe, Lance Armstrong, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning, etc. Guys that are never questioned for their character or will to win in regards to competition.

Well tbh fans of LA and Boston, who make up a good % of nba fans, already had a de facto hatred of Lebron due to the threat he posed to their favorite player/teams lead-dog status. I mean kobe stans in particular have ALWAYS had a deep, deep fear/hatred of Lebron because of how devoted they are to kobes nuts.
But Lebron definitely upset the self righteous crowd with LeDecision. Had he done it in a less aggrandizing way and thanked Cleveland effusively, I think the backlash would have been less for certain, so that part is his fault. Still, there are just so many fans who view sports players as puppets who should live and exist according to what the fan wants to see in a hero. So by leaving CLE you inevitably get a bunch of people whove probably transferred jobs plenty who are outraged at the lack of loyalty
Sports is basically the de facto arena for idiots to run their mouths. Thats what it exists for. Very few people are interested in the game itself. People want to wear a uniform and seek an enemy and fight fight fight. Thats what it is.

Welcome to the world of legends and expectations. Of course he is going to be "hated". When he joined the Heat, teaming with D-Wade; then getting Chris Bosh to join the dynamic duo, this only added to the "hate" by some people/fans.
Now if he would have stayed in Cleveland...oh boy!! He would have been treated like Carmelo. Actually worse than Carmelo. People would have been dogging him left and right. So yeah, LeBron is the easiest target in sports.

I'll tell you what though, I'd take Lance ****ing Armstrong anyday over this beta mental midget LeCramp. Lance Armstrong is a REAL competitor. Fights through cancer and dedicates his whole life to winning the most physically demanding competition in sports. He did it 7 times in a row because he covered all aspects of the sport. He was mentally and physically ahead of his competition.
And we're talking about sports here numbnuts. I don't care about their character outside of that. LeBron is a terrible leader and a terrible 'number 1 guy'.... he's he first one in history who has made it to that spot PURELY on physical gifts. People sense that from a million miles away. LeBron hasn't earned a damn thing his whole life and half-asses just about everything he does. Nobody respects the guy and is constantly shitting on him for these simple facts.

.
Stars get far more hate today though because of the increased media reporting of their every waking moment, plus it's so much easier to hate on someone popular now when you know you can find others who agree with you (on the internet).
Lets be honest. VERY few people have their own opinions. They hate what they thinks its cool to hate and like whats cool to like. If people only had access to positive reports and comments from Lebron, and didnt have a place they could go anonymously clown on him with a bunch of other contrarians/haters, theyd probably automatically be a fan like young people were of the Cowboys, Yankees, Duke, Bulls etc in the 90s. The internet made it much much easier to hate on people with confidence. Nobody has the guts to do it alone in real life.

And you all choose to hate on the man who hasn't done anything wrong (have not violated any law or any person) except love the game of basketball and tries to be the very best he can be. sure he's got so much pride bordering on arrogance sometimes but it comes with being a young guy who became extremely successful quickly. I think he's handling everything just fine. It's people like y'all who's jealous of him who can't handle the truth.

How can anyone ever respect someone who gives up? That has got to be the worst trait anyone could ever have. LeBron has the opposite of 'heart'. LeBron has spleen. LeBron has kidney. But no heart to be found with this dude. Weakest competitor in history.

This is coming from a Wade stan, long time Heat fan. I support LeBron now, but I am objective about his issues.
1) In Cleveland, LeBron did not come off as a "respectable" or mature man. Dancing on the sidelines, his overall demeanor, the things he does, the things he says, etc.
2) LeBron is not an exciting player. Overall, his game is not exciting, but I want to specifically focus on DUNKS! Almost every dunk he does, is this same exact dunk. This one.
http://i.imgur.com/gD6jFFV.jpg
Why doesn't he learn to be an exciting IN GAME dunker? Jordan used to get everyone excited he had a fastbreak dunk opportunity. MJ used to do all kinds of dunks. Meanwhile, watching LBJ is like..... oh here comes that same dunk again.
3) He really, really F'd up with a hour long TV special for his free agency. Can you believe how ridiculous that was.... looking back.... We are 4 years removed from it now.... but an athlete actually went on TV for an HOUR to say "I am going to join another team".... He was up there answering all sorts of stupid questions as "filler" time. When Jordan came back to the NBA, his "decision" in 1995... you know what MJ did? Simply told his people to fax newspapers the following letter :
http://ballislife.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/MJ-ImBack-Announcement-700-1.jpg
That was it. No TV special. No interview. Nothing. Just "I'm back". And off he went to play basketball. Do you see how easily MJ could earn respect..... while LeBron easily makes himself a MAGNET of hate due to his actions?

Hating on LeBron is therapy for me. Hell, my therapist agrees it's healthy for me and she actually recommends it. We even had a laugh about LeBron's choking over the years. It really took away the tension on that particular day. She's actually a huge Wade fan.

Its cause LeBron lives rent-free in the most peoples heads in bball
Kobe, Jordan and Durant stans constantly worry about the guy 24/7, no one else comes close
Kobe stans respect Jordan since their games were similar, and mostly succumb to Kobe not being as good as Jordan.
There is an uneasy alliance between Kobe stans and Durant stans, where neither insults the other player as they are compromised of the same people, its almost like a truce so they can together concentrate their energies on hating on LeBron
And Durant's game is a little too different from MJ, plus Durant is still young and doesnt pose much threat to MJ so MJ stans leave Durant alone
Finally MJ stans see LeBron as a constant threat, something Kobe was never, and mostly want Lebron to be good, but not better than Jordan
Therefore LeBron basically have 3 fanbases constantly against him.

No doubt about it.
But that doesn't eliminate the fact that there are questions regarding his instincts on the court.
Legends are made by moments when these guys have these transcending moments out there on the court where for a moment you forget they're human beings.
Lebron has his moments in the game but he also has a lot of moments where you stand back and just think about what his issue is.
His elbow bothering him, him vanishing against Dallas, the "decision" and the cramps in this game one. And etc.
Honestly I don't know why he gets as MUCH hatred as he does.
Really him going beast mode and dominating this series and the Heat winning this series will probably erase a lot though.

he is definitely a diva but is it possible that he perhaps did actually have a cramp? and perhaps being limited during a finals game was an unpleasant situation that made him unhappy?

Certainly aint obsessed with some steroid half-a-f@ggot playing for the heat. But yo.....seriously read what I'm saying....why is dude the way he is ? He should domiante but he doesn't want to.
If he actually tells all later in his career about how steroids **** iup your emotions and make you mentally fluctuate or some shit....I'll buy it, but yo.....you gotta admit dude is not close to the mental level of other greats, even though he physically surpasses all of them.

Yes he is to both he dominates and is mentality tough. This is one of the biggest myths against Lebron that haters will always use against him. If he wasn't dominate these past three years and most of his career I don't know what you are smoking.

. Still, there are just so many fans who view sports players as puppets who should live and exist according to what the fan wants to see in a hero. So by leaving CLE you inevitably get a bunch of people whove probably transferred jobs plenty who are outraged at the lack of loyalty
This is what it is. LBJ represents athletes empowering themselves, and a lot of people (especially white fans) reeeally don't like that. A lot of people want to think that since athletes already make so much money, that they should just shut up and play, and that they're here to serve fans.
Those that did just "shut up and play" like MJ are loved. Those that actually had opinions or went against convention were vilified. A lot of people don't like change.
It's "I buy a ticket, I buy your merchandise, you should do what I want you to do."
People think that because athletes make so much money, they don't have real problems, they don't have real pain (cramps), they don't deserve opinions. Everything that happens to athletes doesn't mean as much because they make so much money.

A lot of nikkas are still salty that bran didn't go to their team, especially bulls & knicks fans :lol
He can be a diva and has done some real douchebag shit (which is why some people hate him), but overall he seems like a decent dude. He's the best player in the league/one of best ever, bounced back from that awful performance in the finals and works hard on his game. He's matured as a man and as a player.
So I see no point in hating him anymore, ill still give him shit sometimes but I don't care for clowning him constantly like a lot of losers do.

But he put it ALL on himself by going to Miami. Would he be getting the hate he does in Cleveland, or had he not gone to a super team?
When you make a STACKED TEAM, you inevitably become the main target and expectations for not 5, not 6, not 7.. but 8+ rings (sorta)
I dont see a difference, except that there are other reasons to "hate" on him now....

It's cuz he's successful.
So many people are so afraid of Lebron becoming the GOAT. It's already happening doe. He already surpassed Bird, Shaq and Kobe.
This is it. And the hypocrites act like him going to the Heat is what made them hate him, but in actuality they hate him regardless because let's see:
Kobe stans hate him for surpassing Kobe,
Bulls fan hate him for kicking their azz every year,
Celtics fans hate him because they battle him every year,
Pacers fans hate him for the same reason Bulls fans hate him,
Thunder fans hate him because KD is always second to Lebron, etc etc.
Spurs fans probably hate him now too
At the end of the day, Lebron taking matter into his own hand and got himself a real team is the smartest thing he did for him self, hater can hate all they want but they are miserable right now because Lebron is winning.

It's awesome when people get things they deserve. Same guy who shit on everybody after he lost in the finals. I mean even if he's dumb as rocks which I don't think he is because the "decision" was a smart business move and a good move for his legacy/brand etc. he had to see how much of a target he was making himself. No idea why he's saying shit like this now.

LeBron is the first 'mega star' to shy away from winning and pressure moments during competition. Simple terms: He's a beta.
oh dear :facepalm

why do they like Jordan then? is that because the media during his playing days was extremely biased and still doesn't talk about his gambling habits or when he slapped kerr ? If lebron slapped chalmers tomorrow then it would be a big story and people would act like he murdered someone.
