I have a strong feeling he will leave OKC in 2016 but to what team I don't know.

He won't need to. His cast is light years better than the Cavs supporting cast was

He's gone as soon as he gets a chance. OKC will never have as good of a shot to win it as they had in 2012.

Nowhere.

OKC is one good coach away from multiple championships. They have every single piece necessary, they just need to use them properly.

They are missing a bench/low post threat and a legit 3rd option that's quiet a few pieces atm.

Meh not better than Ibaka and Westbrook. Too much offense is not a good thing.

I'm thinking he goes to Dallas. Go play for Cuban. Great owner who will spend on a big payroll. Plus he has experience building a championship team around a 6'10 guy with a great shooting stroke.

Even though you're right, the Thunder front office is too cheap to fire Brooks.

Then they'd have to pay off his contract and pay a new coach.

Bennett is way too cheap for that.

Not really, Portland don't get Lillard if they draft Durant.

Even if OKC wins a title, there is not enough money in that small village to pay everyone who will want to be paid. KD knows it and is counting the days till he can play in a real city.

It balances out without no Eastern conference tho...:lol :lol

So in the end, Yes. Durant will pull a cramp...I mean a Lebron.

I'm betting he'll win with OKC in 2016.

But if he doesn't and decides to leave, he might go to Boston to team up with Love and/or others, or Washington.

They wouldn't have gotten Lillard because with Durant and Aldridge they wouldn't have been in the lottery in 2012.

The real what could've been: Durant/Roy/Aldridge.

Lol was just about to post this. Not sure how the trade still shakes up but they could have definitely drafted Trillard. For a board with supposed basketball fans a lot of posters don't know shit about the NBA.

Not really, Portland don't get Lillard if they draft Durant.
I thought they got Lillard via the Brooklyn first round pick resulting from the Gerald Wallace trade. Brooklyn only had top 3 protection on the pick, thus it was conferred to Portland (believe it ended up being #5 overall).

Scott Brooks' contract is up in 2 seasons, so they could theoretically let Durant pick a coach in 2016. I say Lakers (has house there), either NYC team (lure of Phil Jackson or Jay-Z affiliations), Houston (if they don't get Melo), or Dallas (Cuban will get a top tier FA eventually I think) will be the most avid suitors. So essentially the usual suspects. I'll also put Washington as a suitor due to his connections.

EDIT: I see others corrected that mistake about the Lillard pick too lol

They got the pick in a trade, so you never know. It was for Gerald Wallace. They probably don't get Wallace with Durant, but its not a foregone conclusion.

KD is a beast though. He's only gonna get better since he's just 25 years old.
