Is there another NBA player, past and present, that would be a better NFL player? I used to think bron...but russ with his rage is better i think. He would just crush it as a corner or safety

For the record there is more to football than just athleticism and rage. Russel seem like the type to gamble to much for interceptions and hard hits to me.

If Russell Westbrook declared for the NFL draft right now he'd probably be drafted as a mid rounder based off of potential alone. Probably higher.

He'd be a dominant cornerback in the NFL with his size, quickness, vertical, wingspan, strength, footwork, and "never stop" mentality.

I agree that he wouldn't make a good cornerback because of the reasons you stated, but he would make a great strong safety. Seems like the type to thrive in run support

he'd be a bigger/stronger version of Eric Berry if playing safety

Just as good as Westbrook would be Patrick Beverly at cornerback.

6'1 185 he has the ideal size for a cb and he would mirror every single step of a wide reciever

Yeah. He would have to play safety for his love of the gamble. Cb would be a bit to restrictive for him

Also even though Jason Kidd would obviously make a great QB, he would possibly make an even better free safety. His IQ would make him one of the smartest players in the nfl comparable to ed reed

Predicting which college QBs will succeed in the NFL is hard enough already. Definitely shouldn't assume greatness for a guy that we've never seen throw a football.

Westbrook reminds me of Adrian Peterson

He wouldn't get drafted. A team would sign him because of the marketing of it, but there isn't much more appeal than that.

Shaq would be a great tight end. Early Shaq, later someone would crush his knees.

He's fast and I kno he was a high school QB but there's no way he'd play QB in the NFL. The only shot he'd have is receiver or DB. He's just so damn thin.

Charlie Ward? AI? Jordan? Lebron? Ibaka? Ben Wallace? Rodman? Wade? Artest? Bledsoe?

I honestly believe basketball players are the best athletes in the world... so choose the ones with the best muscle mass, or the highest insanity rating while still having size...

Nate Robinson has prototypical RB size.

Lebron is still by far the best option. He'd be the best player in the NFL without question. A better Calvin Johnson.

Russell Westbrook would be a sick CB though. Shaq would have been a filthy DL.
I think J-Kidd would have been a great QB, probably a few other PGs too.
