As someone who doesn't like either team in the NBA Finals I actually believe Jason Terry here.

[QUOTE]Jason Terry suspicious of Gm. 1 AC outage

In the wake of Miami Heat forward LeBron James' cramping up and being carried off the floor at the end of Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, much of the discussion hovered around his toughness.

Another line of thinking gravitated toward some form of foul play. Many wondered whether the electrical failure that caused the air-conditioning outage at the AT&T Center on Thursday in San Antonio was something more than a simple dose of coincidence.

Former Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Terry joined ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM

If something else suspicious happens in game 2, the rest of the finals should be played in Miami. There is no place for this bush league nonsense.

English is not your first language, huh? There is literally no possible way in which that "we" could be me and LeBron.

You'd think these highly conditioned, superior athletes of today could play through some heat. Unlike dudes from the 60s.

What? Only one guy got any kind of physical injury and even lebron said later that his body failed him instead of blaming the situation.no one complained.
This looks pretty good given that no player knew that there would be no ac the next day so that they can hydrate their body for it.
Only heat trolls are complaining.

Difference is back then they played like that every game.

Now everyone plays in AC'd buildings every game. That's the set standard now playing in 90temp wwould be extreme.

But the old g's didn't mind it at all. Parker, Battier, ray Allen loved it, and I think Wade too. :applause:

And lol Jason terry. Conspiracy.

Why do you era dudes always bring that shit up?

Because they don't understand that when players expected heat like that, they would prepare themselves by hydrating the day before.

What?
the spurs were also hurt by the high temps. its why they turned the ball over so much.

If no heat, lebron may have been able to finish the game, but the spurs would have had less TOs and been further ahead and won anyways.

Lebron also has cramped up with AC systems functioning. So he might have cramped up anyways.

step_back
06-07-2014, 01:37 PM
Total nonsense.

Why would the Spurs intentionally turn off the AC. They have to play in the exact same conditions so it's not like they have an advantage.

LeBron got cramp which is why he left the game, you don't get cramp because the AC isn't on.

Stop making excuses. Spurs capitalized on LeBron being out and that's why they won game 1.

Did you see me make an excuse? Simply saying if this arena can't be relied upon to run properly, finals games shouldn't be played there.

Just because it works against both teams doesn't make it acceptable. It still lessens the product.

Jason Terry thinks critically and people accuse him of making excuses. Newsflash, he's played in the same division with the spurs for countless years, I think he would know a lot more about their character than you guys would.

Also, it makes it look like the nba doesnt give a shit about the fans....what if Toronto starting playing games without heat during the regular season to freeze out opposing teams?

im emailing the team right now, no heat for the 2014-2015 season... only in the locker room will there be heat for the home team

Im going to acknowledge your statement and explain why it is not reasonable. Ok?

If you're concerned about fair competition, it would be less fair to award Miami 5 home games than to play in a building which doesn't "run properly" and affects both teams equally.

I hope that helps. I understand you are upset.

I want the best playing environment. If San Antonio's lights don't work, yeah it fair but I'd rather have lights than "fairness".

One of the league's worst offender in flopping is questioning the integrity of one of the most respected franchise....

Why is there nobody giving credit where credit is due? The Spurs played fantastic ball down the stretch.

Because nobody cares about the spurs. This series has to possible outcomes. Miami wins. Miami loses. The spurs are an irrelevant story line to most fans.

Because it's easier to blame a loss on cramps instead of giving the winning team credit. What's hilarious is people blaming the heat - that basically implicates Lebron as an HGH user. He was the only one on the court affected. Never seen any other player in NBA history cramp up due to heated condition.
