View Full Version : I like LeBron James and......

I think he faked the leg cramp to create some drama for the series. This will undoubtedly boost his performances here on out. ESPN will see to that. The leg cramps will be mentioned in every segment till the series is over in game 6. I feel for San Antonio. LBJ is gonna go ha....screw that. He's going big here on out.

Damn NOBODY thinks this? I might be insane then. I would think a LeBron hater would even agree with me lol. I seriously think he faked it though. All the greats have done it to be more entertaining.

If the leg cramp would have put him in a good light, then maybe I could understand such theory. If he created intense drama, like banging on the floor because of the intense pain, going back to the locker room, then coming back and playing his heart out, then maybe I would understand. (And would also require a lot of at will skills).

But other than that, the theory is ridiculous. Especially when you consider how much fun people made fun of him the last time he got a leg cramp.

That kind of shows where your mind is at, closer to one of those conspiracy theory nuts. Convinced by it without any proof. Just because you think it so you say with certainty that other greats have done it.

Wtf does him being a Houston fan have to do with anything? You try to make anything turn into a Houston convo.

Tell us the other greats and the injuries you think they faked?

Tell us the other greats and the injuries you think they faked?

I can't think of a single one at the moment. When I first brought it up I had a couple in mind. I figured I'd throw this on ISH so I could find at least one person to agree with me. Still solo on it.

I wouldn't be upset if he faked it though. I just expect him to come and kill San Antonio the rest of the series and ESPN will constantly remind us of the cramps and they'll paint this as some adversity he had to overcome. As a LeBron fan, I don't mind the extra hype.

I actually agree. If NBA is rigged for the sake of ratings and money why not be more WWE like and create stories behind games. wouldn't suprise me if lebron got told to "make it interesting"

I don't think he was told. I don't even think it's rigged. I think he just took it upon himself. Just adds to his growing legacy type thing.

If he lays an egg tomorrow it would be on purpose it bro. All part of a scheme to add to his legacy. In game 3 he'll break his fingernail and will be carried off in a stretcher. Just gonna add to his legacy even more...

You must really see these players as gods. Especially Lebron. With the ability to just throw games and win at will against a team that won 62 games in the West.

The environment and randomness doesn't matter, these all time greats are gods. They're not regular humans.

Adjustments and strategies don't matter, because Lebron can just simply decide to win any games, and all of his losses are for show.

Even game 6 last year when it looked like the Spurs were going to win it all, Lebron decided to miss that last three because what the hell, it will be more dramatic when Bosh got the guaranteed offensive rebound and passed it to Ray to hit the guaranteed three pointer. Lebron can just will it.

lets be honest

lebron was only limping when he didnt have the ball in his hands

when he did both times he was moving fine

i think it was a real pain. but nothing that would have kept him from playing.

i do think he used it as an excuse and didnt want to take the blame had they lost

he went out of the game and stayed by the bench just incase his team took a good lead so he could check himself back in. but they fell apart

so i somewhat agree with OP... but its cause lebrons a sap. not because he wants to create drama.

I'm not gonna say every game. I do feel as though he can take over the game and be selfish whenever he wants and will his team to a win more times than not.

nah, its more like 2011,
bran saw wade beasting, and possibly would win FMVP,
just like pauk, he would prefer for the heat to lose the series rather than he's not being the man,

http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=230174

but 2011 disappearing act hurt his legacy, so he choose another raod this time,
he make sure that wade defer, or else he wont be playing well/wont be playing at all

I don't agree with that. I legitimately think he had some cramps that kept him from playing.

Now that mysterious "elbow" injury when he played with Cleveland was suspicious. We never heard of what it was.

If he did fake it it's because he was scared about the imminent spurs comeback. J/k, I know he's not scared of pressure situations so he probably just couldn't handle the heat. But yeah, he didn't fake it.
