:applause: Big props for LeBron. I saw that Kobe face in the 3rd quarter...the killer in control. His critics will still complain. But they are always going to complain no matter what he does. But

Great game, led his team to victory. Made the right plays, nothing to hate on for today.

0 TOs in 2nd half (4 in 1st) will be overlooked. Thought that was key. Limited Spurs fast-break scoring (along with Parker's ailment)

Wait, what? Did you say his supporting cast was a bunch of scrubs? Did you not watch Bosh at all?

Now the mod decides to show up. This thread should stand alone considering how many "un merged " threads about Lebron's performance in game 1 were out there.

That strip at the end was a gamesaver aswell, will be overlooked, just like that clutch D on PG24 in ECF.

Best I've seen him play since last years Gm 7. That stretch where he hit 5-6 consecutive baskets... Gotta give credit where its due. Amazing performance!

Those were big plays. I thought the turning point were when Parker and Duncan missed 4 straight. And part of me felt the Spurs would take their feet off the pedal once they got Miami in the penalty with 6 mins to go.

That was one of the circumstances where having an attacker like Bryant or AI would've probably made the difference between winning and losing.

Props to Lebron. If he can consistently hit the jumpshot, San Antonio is going to be in for a long series as the 'let lebron shoot' strategy they employed last year goes right out the window.

Lebron shot well in game 4 and 7 last year.

Why change a strategy that works 70% of the time?

Because last year isn't this year. The Spurs haven't even used that strategy in these finals, not to mention that LeBron has been hitting contested jumpers these past two games. It'd be stupid to go back to it with Lebron finally confident in his shot.

Its a great performance, but to think that the Heat needs such an amazing game from Lebron and each role player at his absolute best to win a game against Spurs.

The role players were terrible... besides Lewis and Allen. Cole, Birdman, Jones, and haslem were worthless. Wade had a sub par game too and the Heat still won

You missed the part where I said IF he can consistently hit the jumper. The strategy doesnt work if he's on, which we will have to wait and see if this game( and last) is a sign of things to come or an aberration.

Pretty nice seeing even LeBron's biggest criticizers giving him props for tonight's performance. That stretch in the 3rd where he was hitting everything was amazing to watch.

That's because Lebron's biggest criticizers are better fans than his fans.
