if spurs win duncans gonna win fmvp... heat have no match for him defensively. they have no real center except greg oden

duncans eating up inside. so heat have to win

and if lebron fans think hes ahead of kobe with 3 rings compared to 5... let them think it. its not like they havent thought lebron is better since he entered the league anyway right ?

duncan is our only real threat in the nba atm

GO HEAT!

With Lebron playing like this, wouldn't mind him winning again. The dude is just incredible. The only reason I want the Spurs to win is because I bet a friend 200$ on them winning it all.

Well not the only reason actually. I also ****ing hate Mario Chalmers beyond explanation. **** that guy.

and the best thing about lebron is all 3 titles came in a sh*t era.

4 of duncans came before the league went soft. another reason kobe fans respect him more than lebron

Both are already ahead of Kobe.
Easily.

Its somewhat laughable that tonight's Lebron's performance is better than anything Kobe has ever done in any of his finals.

For any unbiased fan Lebron is clearly the better player between the two. It's just people like this retard who think otherwise, nobody else.

What is it with Bron haters and Laker fans constantly making the same thread like 5 or 6 times?

That BigBoss poster has made the 2/5 thread about 8 or 9 times now.

They are both better than Kobe already.

If any of them wins this year it will only put the further apart from Kobe.

Deal with it, case closed, meeting adjourned and VALAR MOURGHULIS!

Well I dont understand this logic for kobestans. Lebron getting #3 will put him ahead of Kobe, without this ring its unclear whos better so fans can keep arguing. Duncan is already ahead of Kobe anyway, with or without another title, winning another ring just widens the gap between him and Kobe. What would you pick if you are a rational kobe fan?

2 finals mvps and 5 rings > 3 finals mvps and 3 rings

and kobe has 4 first option rings actually

Both are better than Kobe already.

That asides, I don't understand how Lakers fans can root for a rival team in the Spurs. They'd rather root against the Heat solely based on the media-hyped Lebron-Kobe "rivalry".

only in the minds of those who already had lebron ahead of kobe.

if it was just about finals mvps kareem wouldnt even be a top 5 player

its about total rings and bodies of work by legends

the entire resume comes into play. it isnt as singular and black/white as count finals mvps to see rankings

kareem has 6 rings and 2 finals mvps.. hes routinely ranked top 3 all time. theres more to the game. like all nba teams, points, records.

I didnt say Lebron is already ahead of Kobe, I said it was debatable and up for the fans own opinion. However, the fact that Duncan is ahead of Kobe is set in stone, with or without another ring. Thats why any realistic Kobestans should root for Duncan instead, you want both Lebron and Duncan to be ahead of Kobe, or just Duncan alone ahead of your idol?

to the average citizen tim duncan is a nobody

kobe was the face of the nba for the 2000s

no fans were tuning into spurs games lol... if 2 guys have similar careers and 1 guy is infinitely more popular. he's always gonna win debates

i'm not worried about duncan unless he accomplishes more

so far kobes got the better overall body of work. duncans only advantage is 1 more mvp, 1 more fmvp... kobe has 1 more title and everything else you can possibly imagine

Shaq scored more points. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the term "plus out" but Shaq did that higher as well.
