Exactly. Any other time the underdog is beloved. People are openly rooting for him to lose. What a terrible time to be a LeBron hater. Hope they enjoyed those 3 days of happiness :oldlol:

Vegas favored the Spurs and the majority of ESPN analysts have Spurs winning. Even two of the 3 Miami guys went with San Antonio. Good thing Miami has LeBron or else they wouldn't stand a chance

I think its because of the HCA to the Spurs, which is understandable, but at this point, we can't tell which team is going to win this.

Yep. People were dumping dirt on Miami since Thursday night but now this isn't surprising to them. People can spin it all they want, the Spurs were in fact picked to win this series. Even LeBron's shadow, Brian Windhorst pick the Spurs. :hammerhead: :hammerhead: :hammerhead:

Has Kobe EVER beaten his opponent in the playoffs while being the underdog? Have the Lakers EVER even been the underdog in the Finals with Kobe?

Only Lebron can be such an amazing basketball player that his presence alone is enough to beat the odds and carry his team past a superior roster in Spurs. Who else does more with less?

no pun intended

Really? Random "experts" you know nothing about (a small group at that) decide what millions of people think? Is that what you're indicating?

you can look at the officiating and see how well a team does in the same situation with those officials.

it was clear that san antonio was going to win this game after seeing who the officials were, and I made 200 dollars off of this game alone.

:facepalm

Please. Looking at that list, there are some hacks...but a lot of knowledgeable reporters/analysts: Shelburne, Elhassan, Pelton, Haberstroh, Stein, Strauss, Thorpe, Windhorst are all respected people in the league media.

All I'm saying is that they are a small sample size, but AS A WHOLE, they TYPICALLY reflect the public perception of the series before it happens. A lot of these people watch NBA games every night of the season and have a good pulse on the league.

Lebron: 3-11 FG in the game that made him a underdog winner.

Kobe: 50 points in the game what made him a choker.
