Yeah if your history of watching the nba is 13 months long I could see what would lead you to make a statement like that.

I cringe when Manu has the ball in the crunch.

Dude is too dumb sometimes.

Zach Lavine>> Wiggins

If he goes outside of the top 5 he will be a steal

No Manu's should take it, you live with whatever he does since Lebron will be on Parker.

He should be trusted to shoot in the clutch but he is kinda erratic as a playmaker for game-on-the-line situations. Thats where Diaw should come in tbh, dude is sharp as hell with the playmaking.

Dude nailed that three at the buzzer on a crazy shot, even tho they were still down by two. He's def clutch.

Lol the Spurs as a whole in that scenario didn't have a clue, 10 seconds left, shouldn't they hoist up a 3 asap instead of trying to get open? Than Manu gets the ball with 5 seconds left than takes another 3 seconds to sq up for his J :lol

Manu actually has range that is about 2 steps behind the line. And makes them consistently.

As for passing the ball, I guess I'm not so certain about that. Pop might know more about how much he has limited Manu's creative passing ability into system passes.

Which, it has worked out great for NFL QBs.

if you do the math its all the same.

10 three pointers=20 points
10 two pointers=10 points

In regular nba
10 three pointers=30 points
10 2 pointers= 20 points

The point difference is always the same...

Then whom are you supposed to trust in crunch time? Spurs do not have as much starpower as the Heat, their best chance is to blow out the games and when it comes down to clutch period, Manu is still the best choice to go with.

give the ball to duncan and surround him with shooters - that's pop's best bet imo.

That 3rd or 4th pass, or even 5th pass.

unless the Heat staff has memorized every single passing route of the Spurs and that it entails absolutely no motion/option in it.
