He seems to think a good field goal percentage will somehow propel him over the all time greats.

Lebron's overall FG% is gonna benefit tremendously from this game.

If the Heat wins the series, his stans are will look back at this game with a smile on their face.

let's go back to the discussion of Lebron James impact in a game!

And unfortunately, he's right when it comes to many people. They look at the stats and think it tells the story.

Stats with Bron are extremely overrated.

Some people would rather play Excel Spreadsheets, NBA Edition rather than watch games.

Sad, really.

Imagine if we have stats for points scored on.

9erempiree

He finished with 14 shots but when I made this thread he had an average of 4 shots per quarter.

How the F are you shooting only 4 shots per quarter in a NBA finals while your team is getting blown out. This means he was protecting his stats instead of gunning it for his team.

Where was Lebron to stop the bleeding? Kobe and MJ was notorious for stopping the bleeding when teams would make their runs.

Kobe and MJ was notorious for stopping the bleeding when teams would make their runs.

Kobe and the Lakers had some monstrous blowouts in closeout games. Pretty sure that's the epitome of NOT stopping the bleeding.

Is it cool now to overreact like a PMSing woman after every single game? Jesus christ.

no pun intended

A good example of being "efficient, but not dominant"

Does this finally put to bed all the comparisons to Jordan? Can everyone finally admit that MJ was the greatest and that although Lebron is a great player he will never be on the same level.

In 30 years time we will be sneaking Lebron into all our top 20 players of all time lists. Can we all admit that now? Do we need more proof or can we finally put this to bed knowing that Lebron is in the decline of his career and past his prime?

Kingwillball

Lebron was terrible tonight cause he was sloppy and passive. I honestly think he was sluggish aka tired after heat exhaustion followed by a lot of energy in gm 2 and 1 day in between.

Why would we admit that ? U need to beat him 4 times he will bounce back and have some huge games in this series still.

Yes but if they lose series and he has some great games he will not be to blame. Next game he will dominate.

It's great that he almost always does the right play (hence his FG%).

But when shit needs to be done he needs to take over.

But like i said before, he plays mostly within a flow of the game (albeit better than everyone else). He needs to force the game to his will, like bird/mj/kobe. Everyone knows he can do it.

he cannot do it consistently and he will not do it, especially in a game like this. Down 20-25 if Lebron had tried to "take over" the lead would have ballooned to 35 in a matter of minutes

Maybe would have been better for the Heat to get blown out of the building so they could at least rest their starters more
