9 for 14=he is not a ball hog who chucks up 20, 25 or even 30 shots every game even if it is detrimental to the team.

14 FGA were still more than any other player took in this game btw.

Series might be over in 5 now apparently.

he missed 2 shots in garbage time at the end so hes rly 9-12, he normally doesnt take those shots so it hurt his fg% a bit, nevertheless 64%, hedefinietely did his best to help his team try to win at the end

this guy knows whatsup, why try to shoot at all in the 4th, when theres a possibility of missing and hurting your team

6 for 24 in a Game 7 should never happen. If your shot is that off you should not be taking 24 shots.

The goal should be to the best shot possible for the team on very possession, not to get the most shots possible for yourself to jack up your ppg.

Truly shows you how meaningless stats are when the context isn't taken into account.

Kobe's 6-24 game was EPIC compared to this 9-14 performance.

:oldlol: This post is so...wow.:biggums:

There are games when the best player needs to impose his will, especially when his team is getting handled. Some of Bron's greatest games are where he shot the ball, 4th quarter vs Detroit, Gm 6 vs Boston...:facepalm

Do you ever ask yourself why Jordan never needed a Finals Gm 7, moron?

23 FGA on 38% when another guy who is the best center in the league is shooting 63%. That is what is glorified here (and I like Kobe but his chucking has cost his team games they otherwise would have won)? :facepalm

92' Pippen and 4 bench players led the Bulls back from down 17 in the 4th.
93' Paxson.
97' Kerr.
98' MJ.

But it was all MJ!

Remember when MJ shot 17% but still took almost 20 shots (even though an elite teammate shot 83% in that game) in a critical Game 3 in the ECF with CHI down 0-2?

No, we all know that. That's because the Bulls were a potential finals contender even without Jordan. They won 55 games in the lowly east without Jordan, and look at the Heat: a 54 win eastern conference team in the finals. That bulls team was a couple calls away from making the ECF.

One call...http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2009/columns/story?page=Hollins-090529 The Bulls actually outscored the Knicks in that series, but the Knicks had more narrow wins, including the 1 point gifted win in Game 5.

Keep in mind they beat Indiana 4-1 in the regular season and were a 55 win team compared to the Pacers' 47 win, so they presumably would have beaten the Pacers...

97- gamewinner, flu game
98- Pippen was dead while Mj made the defensive and offensive plays + game winner.

The bylaws were a second round team. They are comparable to the wizards of this year the bulls of last year. They never had a shot dummy.

That 17 pt comeback was started by the bench, MJ was sitting while that happened but as soon as the bench became gassed, MJ came in and closed it out.

Vs PHX, MJ scored most of the 4th quarter points, a couple of big drives to keep the Bulls in striking distance. That last shot was designed for Paxson. Jordan to Pippen to Grant to a wide open Pax.

Jordan told Kerr he was going to him if Stockton cheated off him, he did and MJ hit him with a nice pass for an easy wide open J. Dat playmaker:bowdown:

Unfortunately for you, I watched those games live.
