Difference is Wallace is actually only 6-7 without shoes and Durant is a legit 6-9 without shoes.

Also, Wallace plausibly may have continued to gain weight beyond his listed 240, I could see him being in the 250+ range. Also I think Durant's 240 listed weight is comical, he looks 220 soaking wet, maybe 225 by sheer virtue of his height but I'm not inclined to believe 240 unless I catch wind of a few sources more credible than list info, list info is almost always fabricated numbers. Articles on offseason weights, a discussion from the team trainers, self-admission, just about anything is more credible than list info. Larry Bird was the exact same height as Kevin Durant without shoes (also exactly 6-9) and he played at about 220, and was 235lbs coming into some seasons "overweight". Durant looks thinner/smaller than Larry Bird did to me. Heck, David Robinson was only 226lbs during the 1988 olympics and was only 235lbs as an NBA rookie and he was a legit 7 feet tall without shoes on, even at that height and weight he looked more filled out than Durant does.

Durant was 235 last season. He gained 5 lbs over the summer. :confusedshrug:

What's the issue? You're paranoid, G.

Also OP chose a 31 or 32 year old Ben picture and a picture of Durant in college.

I don't get the point, tho. So either Ben is listed less than he is (so what?) or Durant is actually lighter than his listed weight (which would make what he does even more impressive...). OK?

He was listed at 235. I have my doubts as to the validity of that number though.

Durant and lebron are not even side by side so that image doesn't prove anything. Lebron is standing behind him.

It's funny because Lee Priest at competition weight is probably ~200 due to his height

Pretty much. Durant's not weighing more than 215 imho, that's max.

And Ben Wallace, at his swollest, is probably closer to 300 than 250. Anyone who thinks Bron weighs more than Ben Wallace is ****ing shitting themselves.

I think they weighed roughly the same. I think Ben is actually 6'7" and Lebron is a legit 6'8".

Obviously it's at a slight tilt but I guess you can't use your imagination to correct it?

To me, Vince has always been nearly 6'6" and Ben being nearly 6"8.

Ben Wallace maxed out somewhere close to 250-260. Don;t believe what you read.

You picture analyst sleuths really need to learn a thing or two about photography. Aperture and focal length dramatically effects how filled out a subject looks and lighting will dramatically effect how defined a subject will look. Photographs with high zoom are always going to maximize the appearance of mass, it is an optical effect. Depending on how a picture was shot will depend on how big an athlete looks, so it's very easy to cherry pick pictures. That said, Ben Wallace is a few inches shorter, but definitely heavier than Durant ever was and probably ever will be. Even under the highest zoom lenses with great lighting Durant never looks big or defined, where as Ben Wallace almost always looked big.

Case in point about sports photography being misleading:

Dwight ...during the same season. Be careful trying to assess a players height or weight through scrutiny of one or two pictures. Look at a wide variety, under a wide variety of conditions and lens types. If you are going to make comparisons please at least try to compare a multitude of extremely similarly shot photographs.
