"In all of NBA playoff history, not just the Finals, no team has ever attempted fewer free throws in a seven-game series than Miami

Man with a team like Miami who constantly throw the ball down low and lets their bigs bang you'd really expect more free throws..

its crazy how bad people try to hate on the heat. Even when the refs intentionally tried to screw the heat over, people acted like they helped the heat. If the heat had no AC, people would have hated and called them cheaters. Yet when the spurs intentionally take out their AC, its a "Mistake" and "Its lechokes fault". The double standard is hilarious and when we 3peat im gonna laugh at all of you. SO FCUK ALL YOU HATERS.

Aside from LeBron, no one on the Heat is actually taking the ball down low. Bosh seems content at the three-ball line, so it's really no surprise when the Heat doesn't match up on fouls, particularly those near the basket. Granted, Bosh has been strong from 3-point land, but that means giving up that interior presence, and relying on drives and mid- and long rang shots.

Miami should play better defense if it doesn't want to get as many fouls called against them.

Spurs don't commit as much fouls as most other teams. In the reg season, they were second to last in fouls committed. Pop doesn't like defenders that foul often. Got rid of Mahinmi and Blair because of this. SJax didn't last very long in SA the second time around either. It's also why Jeff Ayres lost favor with Pop - he started the season as the Spurs 4th big(MLE signing) and he ended up getting little to no minutes by the start of the playoffs. Wouldn't be surprised is SA moves him this summer.

Also SA is averaging more points in the paint than Miami this series. Duncan and Splitter mostly score in the post. Boris Diaw can post up as well. Parker, Ginobili, and Leonard all attack the basket too.

Pretty much. Their defense has been unimpressive throughout the playoffs. Look at the offensive efficiency numbers of all the team they've played in the playoffs compared to their regular season numbers.

106.7 - Nets RS Offensive efficiency
112.4 - Nets PS Offensive efficiency vs Miami

104.1 - Pacers RS Offensive efficiency
110.2 - Pacers PS Offensive efficiency vs Miami

110.5 - Spurs RS Offensive efficiency
120.1 - Spurs PS Offensive efficiency vs Miami

Every team they've played in the playoffs is performing well ABOVE their season numbers. They were able to get away with this against Brooklyn and Indiana by outscoring those two teams. That's not quite working against SA since SA is an already elite offensive team(unlike Nets and Pacers). If you play poor defense against them, they'll burn you.

Seriously. Remember game 2 when LeBron was in the post for literally the entire 1st half?

Westbrooke had as many FTA per game as Durant in the playoffs, Kd FTA went down in the playoffs..

KD gets the benefit of some calls, however OKCs entire offense is ISO ball with WB & KD which forces the refs to make a decision on wether to calls foul or not as WB goes into the lane and attacks, never said OKC doesn't get calls.

The heat are infamous for playing small ball with no real center, their best big takes 4 threes a game & Wade is usually a ***** who is afraid to drive into the lane unless its wide open.
