Home alone with ISH in the background?(like the majority here) Pub/bar? With mates at their(or your) house? Outdoor screens?

If it's a big game(the opening game today, the England games etc.) then i'll probably watch outside on the large screen and feel the atmosphere with thousands of others. But usually i'm just watching with the lads at the pub. London is a city with loads of nationalities, so you will always meet someone from Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Mexico whatever and have a chat with them. And pick up some girls(so easy.)

I dont bother going out to watch Honduras-Ecuador tbh. It's pointless.

was going but since I'm not, I probably won't watch any of it unless it's on at a friends. fvck soccer.
What? You'd spend money on a trip to Brazil and spend money on tickets to see the matches...Yet you hate the sport? So why go? Just to be seen?

I think this mentality is sort of ruining a lot of the atmosphere and passion you see these days. It's becoming unfortunately common in the Premier League.

In the USA, the World Cup is NOT AS popular as it is in other countries.

Im watching it at home btw.

At home with family. Underage so can't go to the pub, but the games would definitely be on there.

Whether people like to admit it or not Football (Soccer) is the biggest sport in the World.

I'll be watching the England game round my friends house with a few beers on Saturday!

World Cup isn't THAT big in the USA.

It actually kind of is but I'm sure in the South and Midwest the event is pretty much irrelevant.

I know in NY(in the metro area) alot of the pubs, bars, restaurants all have WC events. NYC, Queens, Astoria, etc. Alot of it has to due with a larger immigrant population and a more civilized native population then your typical Southern hick who watches high school hand egg.

I bet you're one of those Americans who thinks traveling is leaving the State. Like you've ever been here

International footy events are pretty massive and we'll celebrated in Toronto. You can find some of my buddies at a pub or patio for many of the games but I prefer to watch Italy play the group round at home for the most part. Once they succeed to the knock out stage I usually make my rounds to a pub...

Good times...

I'm watching most at home, with tomorrow the exception - meeting all the lads in Sheffield, watching at their apartment with some imported beer from our last trip to watch Dortmund and hit the town afterwards.

Americans doing their best to feed the stereotypes, I see.

There is a good Irish Pub in downtown Pittsburgh that I will probably watch some games at this weekend. It is pretty much the only devouted soccer pub I know of around here. Other than that I will be watching with friends at someones apartment.
