And 2 of the 3 are on the road, it's going to be tough, but the Spurs were closer last year and they choked, so they could choke this shit also.
As a b-ball fan, I just hope this shit goes 7.

Never underestimate what LeBron, the Heat and the officials can accomplish. He's "won" two championships so far using that lineup.

3 wins to 3 peat. Can Lebron actually earn it and not have it given to him? :confusedshrug:

So after getting BTFO in 2 of 4 games (with one being another being a blowout in the late game), you still think Miami has the edge?

Maybe 1 win and they got the momentum.

If LeBron is able to lead the Heat to three straight wins, move over Jordan because there is a new GOAT! Talk about impacting a legacy in a positive way! People are talking about the Mount Rushmore of basketball. It would just be LeBron and three empty spaces.

So they can lose the series at home. Wonder if fans will stay past half-time.

Last time team came back from 1-3 in the playoffs: 2006 Suns/Lakers
But even then, the Suns had homecourt.

They might've been closer, but what happened last year has happened before in history. And when Ray Allen hit that shot to tie you, I personally thought "Heat are going to win this series." There was just no way you can recover from something like that, especially considering the stupid 2-3-2 format that favors the road team tremendously if they win 1 of the first two games. No team has ever come back down 3-1 in the Finals.
So in short, not only were the last two games last year at Miami, but this year two of the last three games are in San Antonio.

yeh its some crazy odds to overcome and it basketball miracles dont happen too often. clutch shots dont count.
3 games in a row against the spurs who arent affected by pressure in their homecourt advantage not to mention the only time the heat won was a lousy 2 point game.... they're basically getting swept

Being realistic here, I love my Heatles I'm with them win or lose!
It's an impossible climb with Lebron having ankle issue and all...but we can dream can't we?:lol
If Wade/Bosh play up to their normal standards (which has been wishful thinking).... i think Miami could very much likely win 3 in a row...

Maybe the next game in San Antonio will be more competitive. It actually looked like Miami had a shot at winning this series during the first two games in San Antonio. I'm not sure what happened when the series went to Miami.

The title of this thread tells you all you need to know about the mentality of the two teams and the two fanbases.
That being said...

LeBron needs to step up too, he's not even the best SF in this series. K. Leonard is to be truthful. Wade / Bosh need to play better, sure. But how about LeBron finally doing some next level LEGENDARY shit like MJ in '91 - '93 or Shaq 2000 - 2002?

Is it possible that Miami is sandbagging just so they could make history with the 1-3 comeback?

Yeah I pretty much feel the same way. It's weird cause I'm not even that pissed off knowing our chances are slim to none. SA came to play. We didn't. Simple as that.

We'll never see anything like those again. Lebron shooting 60% from the field in this series and averaging only 17 FGA a game is pretty unacceptable and aggravating beyond belief if you'd like to see him do something extraordinary. He's - technically - 28/8/3 and that's having checked out early in Game 1 and dissapearing for quarters at a time in 2-4. He better at least die gunning or it's going to leave an incredibly poor and lasting memory.

That's my point. His game 2 was really nice. But he has either put up hollow stats, or puts it up when it doesn't matter. He's still being passive. I mean game 3? He has this monumental 1st quarter. Then shoots the ball 4 times in the 2nd half when his team is down huge? I need to see more than that. And in regards to this:
because of two games?
Excuse me. LeBron 2 v.s. Leonard 2. There is no best SF in the series right now, it's a wash if we're getting technical. But when a non star out plays a top five player all-time, it's a little more dramatic than that.
