So he should have played and shot more in the 4th quarter?

Collie

Jerry West had to drop 40+ ppg to win it. And he was Mr. Clutch.

Not even close. His impact in the series is just not there.

LOL

No chance if the series doesn't go to 7 games.

27.5 and 7.3 isn't that legendary enough to award a losing player the Finals MVP.

The Heat got blown out at home twice, noone on that squad deserves to come near the Bill Russell trophy

lol no. He's not the reason they're losing but he's definitely not the FMVP.

Nah it's Kawhi.

Diaw has been better than Bran in these finals. :oldlol:

he is the most valuable if you look at the +/- with and without him.

Your problem is you're living off stats. Anyone who watched the game clearly saw that in two straight games when he went onto the bench, Miami started to cut it down at the start of the 4th quarter.

Stats shouldn't decide what wins the FMVP. Heart, determination and the will to win are what should decide it. There is no way Lebron deserves that over a number of Spurs players who have played their hearts out for this.

You sure that's accurate? And does that include this game?

He was good for the 1st 2 games, but his performance took a serious dive in Miami

bran was -21 tonight, -21 last game (worst of either team both games), +11 in their win, and +/- 0 in the first game.

OP is another box score watcher. Lebron has no business being MVP in this series. Anyone that watch the series will know.

The reason why people are entertaining this idea is because of his stats.:lol

Empty stats.

Shaq's numbers vs the 2004 Pistons
26.6 on 63% and 10.8 REB.

Bron-bron ain't getting it unless he wins Game 7.

If the FMVP is to have any meaning it should go to precisely that: the most valuable player in the Finals, irrespective of the result. The fact is LeBron clearly is the most valuable player in this series.

i've seen some horrible stuff man. i've seen things that would make you change your perspective on what life is and how things should be. if you're religious, i can tell you things that will shake your foundation in your beliefs to its very core.

so i'm telling you right now that that image is nothing compared to what's really out there.

i understand we all have things that we're afraid of, or dont want to see, but sometimes it's easier to watch it and simply suppress it, and use outlets like this forum (which is what i do) to move on each and every day so and eventually the memory fades and it doesn't seem as horrible as you think it is.

just some advice bro

At this point? Nope. Maybe if he has a great game 5, 6 and 7 but they still lose in the seventh game.

To begin the series, the heat were underdogs but Lebron was -120 to win fmvp, so I guess the bookies thought it was possible.

Leonard was 10 to 1 should have put a dime on it

that's understandable, but at the same time i just wanted to give you a little perspective on things. sometimes man i sit at home and a random tear falls down my cheek, that's how much i suppress things. it just happens and the pain seeps through. i keep a straight face but at the end of the day it gets harder to sleep sometimes, but i've learned to accept it and move on. a dude was stabbed outside the store not even a block away from me, the entire base was on lockdown and i couldn't even go home.

the police taped off the scene and i could still see the blood on the pavement. he miraculously survived but that was just a very small peak into a day in my life. i go to sleep and hear gunshots at night, it's like the 4th of july every night. then i go to work just to see more messed up things. can you imagine having a job where you have to lie to someone about their mortality in life? it's part of my job description. they ask me if they're gonna die, and i have to smile and say "no, you can survive." then i take a step out of the patient room and hear the physician say to my nurse, "she's only got 3 more months." that's almost everyday, and the only way to survive it is to develop a morbid humor about it.

i could go on but i dont want to spam. pm me if you want to talk.

Maybe if the games were all within a possession or two, but you can not award the FMVP to a losing player that gets blown out consistently. You just can't.

Plus, he doesn't deserve it anyway, stat-wise as well.

Lol barely playing in any 4th quarters dumbass, you even watch the games to have any context? Game 1-hurt Gm2-Won, shot a lot in 3rd not as much in 4th though Gm3-Blow out Gm4-Blow out and killed them in the 3rd

So he should be excused for his team being blown out?

Because, you know, not keeping it close for the first three is okay right.

Yes, in what has been one of the most lopsided Finals in recent memory, let's give the FMVP to a guy on the team getting beaten unmercifully. James has had minimal impact on this series. This has to be a joke.
