In no way is it one of those 3 for sure (please shut up with that), but I've got Kawhi or Duncan so far.

Unless we get a vintage Duncan game, its Kawhi all the way.

Kawhi. As soon as he picked up his game, Spurs dominated.

The electrician who sabatoged the air conditioner in San Antonio is the MVP. The dude deserves a statue of him holding a wrench.

Duncan. Leonard would be next in line.

Diaw and Manu can't win this, whatsoever.

Yes, I've been watching the games. Duncan has been the consistent Spur and clear-cut best player in the first game. If we're talking about who will win it, the voters do look at stats.

Now please, shut up. Kawhi and Boris have had a bigger impact over the last two games, but Manu throughout the series? :facepalm

Duncan LOL

"LOL" :facepalm .

Diaw and Manu haven't outplayed Duncan through these 4 games. Only Leonard can possibly win over Duncan and he was a non-factor in the first 2 games.

Duncan has been at worst the 2nd, 3rd, 3rd and 4th best player in games 1 through 4. AT WORST.

Kawai was arguably the worst Spurs in game 1, was again bad in game 2 and has been the best player the last two games.

That's not even including Parker or Diaw. If one of those guys have a GREAT game in game 5 and win it wouldn't surprise me at all if they won it.

Leonard. I have Duncan second, but Manu has been huge.

With regards to Diaw, I feel like he's been the big catalyst after Leonard, so maybe if that's how we're awarding FMVP, it'd go to him. It's nice to see him playing like this though, he's such an unusual talent. If they win this series, he won't be forgotten by history. :applause:

Diaw.

Leonard has been great obviously but hes gotten just his own. Diaw has set everyone up and he is the biggest mismatch. He also has the best +/-.

The people who need high point totals or a 'storyline' can pick someone else. But the most important player in this series is Diaw. IMO.

It's definitely between either Kawhi or Duncan. But that's no slight to any of the others. They've all played well, and you could really make a good case for Manu, Parker, or Diaw, as well.

Duncan has been the most consistent Spur so far, and he remains the team's defensive anchor.

Kawhi rebounded well - figuratively and literally- after two mediocre games and has been playing spectacularly on offense as well as defense.

Either way, no FMVP win will be undeserved.

Also, it really doesnt matter. The Spurs are the ultimate team and even naming an MVP for them just feels tacky. If the award were up to me to distribute Id crown it the first ever team fmvp. But if I have to vote for a player ive got diaw.

Boris would be the first guy ever to win FMVP and not average double digits in any of these three categories - pts, rbs, assists

In other words, when the media people go to vote......and see those stats.....he's not getting the vote. As of game 4.

No way, no how. That's just a fact.

Agreed.

I doubt any of the Spurs themselves give a sh*t about the FMVP. This Spurs squad define the word 'team'.

Diaw deserves it, he's been the big difference maker in the series. I both games he started the Spurs have dominated Miami and he has a massive +/-. Simply watching he games backs this up because he has made countless fantastic plays and facilitates ball movement perfectly. He will not get the fmvp award however because he does not have the stats to back it up and thats all the award signifies. I suspect either Duncan gets the award because his stats are solid and its a sort of extra lifetime achievement, swan song award, or Leonard will get it because he has been excellent as well, has good stats and also has the x-factor of defense on Lebron. Its gonna be a tough choice lol... No one and everyone is deserving on the Spurs. Truly unique.

Spurs stats through 4 games. Emphasis on team basketball. Tim Duncan is averaging a double-double though which probably puts him as FMVP, but any one of these six could get it:

Duncan -
15.8 ppg / 10.5 reb / 2 ast / .5 stl / .5 reb / 3 to / 2.3 foul
58.5 fg% 68.2 ft%

Kawhi -
16.8 ppg / 5.5 reb / 2 ast / 1.8 st / 1.3 blk / 2.5 to / 4 foul
59 fg% 53.3 3pt% 76.5 ft%
33:15.5 mins

Diaw -
5.3 ppg / 5 reb / 3.8 ast / .25 stl / .25 blk / 1.25 to / 1.5 foul
46.7 fg% 25 3pt% 60ft%
24:39.25 mins

Parker -
21 ppg / .25 reb / 5.25 ast / 1 stl / 0 blk / 2.5 to / 1.8 foul
50.1 fg% 45.5 3pt% 81.3 ft%
34:58 mins

Ginobili -
13.25 ppg / 2.75 reb / 4.5 ast / 1.25 stl / .25 blk / 2.5 to / 3.25 foul
48.7 fg% 38.9 3pt% 90.9 ft%

dude, thats the thing i dont understand with you. duncan had a great game 1, but than: that was it....if you cant see that...than i dont know. duncan is neither the defense anchor like you always pretend to say: this time is leonardh and the whole spurs team
if you look at the stats: 17 and 10 is not very amazing, but infact all his "high point average" is due to his first game. i mean, now i understand why you see duncan as the fmvp in 05 and not ginobili... every other star in this fvcking world would be screwed for such a performance. dirk would be "taken out of the game" and would be "a choker" who "is carried by monta", kobe would be "kobebrick as usual". only duncan is untouchable. it would be a shame if duncvan wins the fmvp and not parker or leonardh.
if he wins it, it would be an evidence that the fmvp is absolutly trash.

Than vs Then
The English words than and then look and sound a lot alike, but they are completely different. If this distinction is harder than it should be, read this lesson and then try again.

Than

Than is a conjunction used in comparisons:

Tom is smarter than Bill.

This is more important than you might think.

Is she taller than you?

Yes, she is taller than I.

Technically, you should use the subject pronoun after than (e.g., I), as opposed to the object pronoun (me). However, English speakers commonly use the object pronoun.

Then

Then has numerous meanings.

1. At that point in time

I wasn
