View Full Version : Do people early think Lebron is playing good basketball?

This is what's wrong with him and most of his super loyal supporters, they look at stats and fg% and say he's doing a good job. But this has been one of his worse series in his career. Aside from Game 2, he's been non existent, absolutely no real impact on the game.

Who cares if he starts to get aggressive when the Heat are already down 20, at that point it's just him saving face.

There is something wrong with Miami and not with him.

They slack on defense, they do not seem focus and they are absolutely terrible.

Lebron could score 40 and they still lose.

Remember game 3? Lebron had a great first quarter to keep the Heat in the game. Then he leaves the bench...blown out in the next quarter ridiculous

tell me who played better than lebron on miami?? no one. people bash lebron just cuz they hate him. forgetting about spo, wade, chalmers, and every one else. what else is he supposed to do? miami can't stop spurs offense. simple as that. shit wade was beyond terrible yet we have like 10 threads about hating lebron. shows who the haters really are.

Well, it's complicated. It's been the best scoring year in LeBron's career, and these Finals have been the confirmation of that, but it's getting clear that this is also the symptom of a worse functioning team than in the previous years. To win the series, the Heat had to throw everything out there as a group, and count on pure unrelenting aggression. That didn't happen.

nah you cant pin it on lebron. wade's decline and their lack of size is being exposed

Should the Heat go on to lose, LeBron deserves some blame for his lack of aggressiveness in game 3 and 4, but it is clearly the case that the Spurs are the better team and some of the Heat players who they rely to show up are not performing at all. Their defense has been ripped to shreds by this Spurs offense, but which defense wouldn't be with the way they have played in game 3 and 4?

Good basketball? My mom plays good basketball. I want to see MJ LIKE basketball from the self proclaimed 'chosen 1'... not dribble dribble, pass, stand around, flop, grimace like a bitch, shit/throw up/adjust his headband in the mirror during the middle of the game, etc

I want him to make something happen offensively WHEN THE GAME IS CLOSE. You can't just let San Antonio build up a lead to start the game. That's where the urgency thing comes into play. It's clear that if LeBron is aggressive and gets off to a good start then that opens up everything else for Miami. But, he's not even putting pressure on the Spurs until the game is already decided. Its all on LeBron. All of it. He's the leader. He's the best player. (So they say)

If he gets credit for all the winning then I'm gonna give his bald ass the blame for getting dismantled by the Spurs in the freaking finals. Guy is a ****ing embarrassment to the league brand. People aren't used to the face of the NBA being such a choker. LeBron is the face of the reality TV era, and the media is to blame for painting the picture of Lebron being a real competitor. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing. The reality TV era has brainwashed people into thinking he is a real competitor like Jordan and Magic were. NO!

Just like they want us to believe Snooki and Kim Kardashian are the same as Depp and Cameron Diaz. NO!

lebron aint got that killer instinct, he tries too hard to be well liked because he's desperate for the affection that his absentee father never gave him. that's why he's always been a beta despite his physicality.

We have the best player in the game standing around not doing a damn thing for a entire first half in back to back games. Dont have me mention the fact that he basically is letting his man roam free scoring on uncontested shots, or playing piss poor help defense. Also please stop with the more help.....if Lebron would be more aggressive it would open up opportunities for the other guys. If Wade and Bosh are enough help to get u to the finals, then obviously you have enough help to win it. Bronstans looking for Wade to carry team to consider him worthy:oldlol: please that is the job of capt efficiency aka LeBron. How about shooting the ball 25+ times, instead of dribbling around the perimeter all day. Or take ur 260lb ass to the block. LeBron has done little to nothing this series and this falls on him. If u want credit for wins all year, then take the blame when you lose.

Please quit talking about other greats when this guy is failing to put his stamp on critical games in the NBA Finals.

:lol this dude must not be a real leader then. how can he be a superstar leader if his team doesnt reflect his play. Oh wait, it does and he sucks.

Lebron needs to run some pick and rolls and get to the hoop and FT Line. Enough of this passive off-ball cross the court to ray allen bullshit. Make the open 3s with your drives to the hoop. 2012 style.

Lebron isn't losing on his own. There are some other superstars that aren't doing their part either. The Spurs are passing the ball like I haven't seen in years, and the Heat have more turnovers than assists. lol If anyone thinks this is solely on Lebron, they are a troll, and everyone knows that.

:biggums:

I don't buy into that 'killer instinct' crap.

Just show me the box score stats. You nerds have no idea to evaluate basketball. It's SIMPLE. Analyze the stats! AH HA! See there... that's what we call using our brain. Strengthening those electrical connections in dat brain of ours by exercising it so that it doesn't cramp up like LeBron did in game 1 of the 2014 NBA finals where his team got blown out of the ****ing water. :lebronamazed:

How about game 1?

Miami leads by 7, Lebron cramps and goes to the bench ...Spurs smell blood, go and tie the game. Lebron comes back, makes a clutch layup and then cramps only to not return again.

What happened to the Heat after Lebron left? They got blown the F out.

Wade is my favorite player of all time, but, god damn, he really did not show up in these finals together with his teammates.

Let them enjoy it.

Just because people say it, doesn't mean it is so. Lebron has been great this series. Yes, great. He has had his lapses on defense, particularly game 3 and 4, but he is the only thing going.

People saying he isn't aggressive enough? Sure. He had 15 points in the first quarter and the Heat were down by 16... Then they blame him for trying to swing the ball, get his teammates involved so they can start hitting something. There is literally no win for him here.
Take too many shots? He needs to make his teammates better.
Doesn't take enough? Bird and Jordan would have taken 35 shots that game and won the game...

Yep, sure they would.

Just let them enjoy it. They don't realize how hypocritical they are. In fact, I'll take that back. They do, they just don't want to admit it. Everyone on here knows Lebron isn't to blame, but, what you gonna do? When you're that good, you'll have detractors.

You can't single-handedly put the blame on LeBron, but he's also not exempt from it.

As somebody just articulated, dude was scoreless in the second and fourth quarters of last nights game..going through LONG stretches...doing nothing.

His +/- says it all...the lowest of any player in this series

I think everyone knows that life before winning and after winning is quite different.
