No idea, but that was pretty rad. Have you seen stuff from this show? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucZt-gTKucs&app=desktop) All slight of hand stuff, except people aren't aware their bartender or whatever is a magician.
That was just nutty lol
I gotta read more into this show.

I was in vegas a few years back for a friends birthday, and we were ending one our night at some outdoor karaoke bar. the ghetto houdini was there, and he came over to our table, most likely because there were girls with us, and just started performing tricks (and then of course, asked for money after, but thats beyond the point)
pretty much the same set he did in that video, including the salt trick. it was pretty awesome to see live, but since he was so close, it also gave away the trick.
Spoiler for those who really want to know (dont know how to white text, sorry) he has a fake thumb on (forget if its on both hands or not) and he just pour the salt into the small pouch the fake thumb. again, this was about 4 years ago, so maybe he changed how its done, or mabye just improved on it. but no lies, this is what i saw from him in person.

yea, i was gonna say... pretty obvious that he has a hand reservoir... not sure if it's the finger or palm variety or what. the reason he always touches both hands together is because he's transferring the reservoir (or the contents) back and forth.
the ball trick is pretty obvious... easy enough to work out for anyone.
the card stuff-- no idea... i never learned that one. but it might be specially-designed cards that telescope out of that same hand reservoir. which makes sense, since he empties them out at the beginning to make room for the salt / liquid stuff that comes after.

if you get a chance, check out "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" from 2012. the whole series is on youtube, last i checked.
P&T are the judges, and the idea is for top-notch magicians to stump them with magic tricks. most of the time they don't, but only because P&T have seen almost everything at this point.
in any case it's an awesome series if you like illusions.

Yeah P & T are unbelievably versed. There was one clip I saw on YouTube where one of the contestants pulled out a trick that they couldn't figure out . It was pretty cool. I'll see if I can pull it up, although I'm sure you've already seen it.

The tricks he performed are still pretty low level tricks you can buy at any magic store. But his skills are very good and I hope he'll go far.

Still don't get how he does that shit.
I know man, it's a mind fu*ck. I like how they're like, even though we pointed out and detected the flaw, we still can't decipher how the hell you did it lol

Yeah I hear you. I can look passed a trick that I know how is executed and still appreciate a magicians delivery and stage presence.

but my browser tab says shawn farquhar, and i think you mean the one where he put the signed card in to a fresh deck?
i do remember that one. okay, notice that he opens both sealed decks himself? that definitely helps sell the trick, is what i will say.

he was a little off on a couple pts, but yea.
with the sub one he had different props. he has some of the most clever props in the 8ndustry from what i've read.

the card tricks arent that impressive.
the coughing up the card one is quite simple to do and you can see him palm the cards as soon as he put the initial deck which is bigger than a normal deck. The flipping the cards out one at a time, you kinda just hide the cards in between your finger cracks but takes practice to pull it off smoothly.
Most of the stuff he does is in terms of a professional magician, amateur...

sorry about that, but i hadn't made any queries and you sounded pretty dismissive of his talents. yea, i was annoyed.
not to mention, when i want to learn how that card trick is done i can spend the time working it out myself and then confirm / get corrected by some experts. for now i'm just enjoying the fact that he's fooling me so deftly.
