View Full Version : Honestly, I Blame This Series on Wade

Heat are absolutely F.UCKED if he picks up that option. Dude hasn't played defense all series, can't pass for s.hit, and his handles have absolutely deteriorated. The Heat need a bench and a somewhat decent big man. Paying a gimp close to 20 million won't help.

Clear indication that something is not right in south beach. There must be a rift between Bron and Wade, and now Wade is throwing the series to get back at Le.

I have a feeling they will. It gets annoying because Wade will suck ass. But the time she does play well we are all supposed to kiss his ass and talk about he isn't done. He is done. His body is breaking down and he can't sustain any kind of consistency. Miami rested him and ran LeBron and co. into the ground to keep him healthy and it hasn't worked. Good thing for him LeBron and Spolestra are going to be the ones eating a plate of s.hit for this one.

Lebron is the best player on the team. He needs to set the example from the beginning, because right now he's been playing just OK...yet allowing the team to go down 20 at the half at home. There's no use showing up in the 3rd quarter when it seems obvious that things are totally out of reach at that point.
For the Heat to win, it would require true greatness from Lebron from the opening tip-off. I hope he is capable of this.

You can't honestly expect LeBron to keep having to carry the offense and defense again for another series. Anytime Wade plays bad the answer is always for LeBron to play better. Are any of the other players going to be asked to step it up? Birdman, Chalmers, Wade, etc have been absolutely ATROCIOUS. Rashard Lewis has been their 3rd best player. Scary

It's not 2011 bro. Lebron is a 2 time champion, so there won't be as much scrutiny and hating. And it's not like things are going immediately turn to shit for the Heat if they lose against this amazingly great Spurs team.
Did the Spurs ever repeat? No, this is the first year they've even made it to back to back Finals. 4 straight Finals for the Heat is no small accomplishment. Even if they don't get the 3peat, I'm not counting out their ability to win championships in the future.

The rest of the team is pretty old, and they have been disappointing. But I still think Lebron is a great enough player to have a MJ type of performance in Game 5 to at least show that the team isn't going to roll over so easily. Maybe that's enough to get the other players to bounce back.

Wade is done. Now, he is an undersized injury prone shooting guard who can't shoot the ball, who is too slow to create off the dribble, not athletic enough to finish well around the rim.

Simple, he needs to tell (or ask) Wade to sign for less and not pick up his option. If Wade says no, then bran needs to pack up and leave. He is not 21 years old and has 10 years ahead of him, he has 3-4 elite years left :confusedshrug:

Two measly titles? Titles don't count because they were won in an extremely close fashion? Having a good team undermines the accomplishments?

Wade played good in games 1 & 2. I think it really does come down to Lebron not being able to finish game 1. They were in a prime position to be up 2-0 leaving SA but Lebron's legs just gave out on him at a crucial moment.
Wade's legs just look completely dead in the past two games tho. He was horrible last night and a non-factor in game 3. I really think he would be better off as a 6th man right now. They're measly because the Heat was carried by the refs from the first game of the playoffs until the game 5 of the Finals in 2012. Stern had decided that it was time Lebron won a ring. It could not have gotten any clearer than that. Last year's competition was horrible and it still took a miracle shot to save the season.

The standarts for this guy have fallen so incredibly low its mindboggling... He scores 20+ every 5th game or so and everyone is like "Wade is back! True alpha of the team!!"
People compare this guy all time to Dirk? Goddamnnn... He's been your average all star since 2012... He's ****in' done. Dirk has had a better season than him and would provide a much better 2nd option.

Don't place the blame on Wade. Blame LeBron for not showing up with that killer instinct mentality like Michael and Kobe. LeBron doesn't show up in most 4th quarters.

Probably cause he is too gassed from carrying your boy the first 3 quarters every night.
Where was Wade's "killer instinct" after Lebron went out in the 4th during game 1? This 4th quarter shit has been irrelevant in this series because they games are already out of reach anyway. :sleeping

Where was he when James was in foul trouble for most the game against the loss to Indy?
LOL if Wade opts out and asks for max. He knows he'll get laughed at if he does so.

yup its on him
Because LeBron wasn't thoroughly outplayed by Kawhi Leonard in game 3? And played to a virtual draw in game 4? His production in the fourth quarter has been minimal too.
The Heat win and lose as a team. The blame doesn't place squarely on one player. It's a collective effort. From the coaching staff to the players. It's a team game. I said this in 2011, and I'll say it now in the event the Heat are buried on Sunday.
